    Hey, I checked and the plastic is not melting and is not very hot. Once I'm done with this one, I will mount the lights like you did with some PVC pipe. The plant is 21.5" tall today, I have switched the lights to a 12/12 cycle. Fingers crossed haha, will post updates in a week or so

    Can you post some pics of how you have the fans cooling the ballasts? I just quickly put together a similar setup using 6000k and 3000k HIDs from DDM tuning and I noticed the ballasts get quite hot. Have you thought about using some sort of a reflector to focus the light?
