Sounds like a plan. Be sure to update this a week and two weeks after the flip. I'm curious to see how they grow in that span.

I'm using LED and CFL so i'm probably not the best to answer that. However, for the first 1-2 weeks your plant is going to be building up flowering hormones and continuing to grow. Using the veg MH light for the first week should be fine as it's not actually flowering at that point.

See if your keen eye can tell these two. The first one was chopped. Later pics at the end of page 1 def made it out to be male. This is plant 2/3 and 3/3. I'm pretty sure one is a male...sigh. The other I don't think I can tell yet.

Yeah it got chopped last night. So damn depressing. Of course it was the one that was doing amazing and about 3x the size of the other two plants. Sigh.
