A bit expensive, but it's perfect for Red supplementation in conjunction with a Warm White spotlight. You you have 1W of Warm White for every 1W of this 445nm/660nm combo it'd be killer, imo. White flood lights are cheaper than these, too, so you'll be under $2 per Watt which isn't horrible for how easy these would be to set up in a tent. Virtually plug and play.

That's an electret headphone driver made by Sony from the 70's. However! If you go on eBay and search for "LED flood light" or "LED xx0W" (10W, 20W, 30W, 50W, 100W, for example) you can find multichip LED's which actually have chips packed that closely! If you check my signature you can run through my grow journal which is currently in progress. There's some info on how you could build an LED spotlight with these LED arrays, how you can cool them effectively and efficiently, what to look for, and how to do it rather cheaply.
