Yes, physiologically, too. Give it up. Humans are NOT herbivores.
*Sigh*
-Our intestines are long and within the same length as other herbivores.
-Our jaws can move side-to-side to grind and chew plant material, not just up and down to tear through animal flesh.
-No claws or fangs to rip through flesh
-The pH level of our stomach acid is within the same level as other herbivores (4-5 while carnivores/omnivores are 1). This is why E. coli and salmonella doesn't affect them, it cannot survive in their stomach.
-The only way raw meat is edible to humans is if we expose it to temperatures that also create hundreds of cancer-causing chemicals.
-We have carbohydrate digesting enzymes in our saliva, carnivores and omnivores do not.
-On top of all this, animal protein decaying in the stomach creates toxic substances like cadaverine, putrescine, and amines. And because we cannot completely digest animal protein, chucks of it are sent into our long intestinal tract. And it builds up in your colon, which can lead to colon cancer, issues with nutrient absorption, and digestive problems. Carnivores and omnivores have short intestinal tracts which flushes out meat quickly, humans have long one's to absorb all the vitamins and minerals in plants.
Some of you are delusional because you're finding out that what you were taught when you were younger regarding meat was a lie but now you're addicted to the taste so you're trying to justify an excuse to yourself as to why you should still eat it. Can we SURVIVE off meat? Yes. Is it healthy and natural according to our physiology? Not at all.
