12 Reasons You May Never Want To Eat Turkey Again

Getting eaten by a lion doesn't exactly look pleasant either.

Whatever people choose to eat is on them. I like my diet. Without eating things that can turn cellulose into useful food I don't think we can feed humanity. And I'm fairly certain that killing off half the population isn't a viable option either.
if stopped factory farming what would we do with all the food grains we feed those animals?

well we could feed all those hungry children and humans in other parts of the world.

outrageous idea right?

They're also eating lots of parts of plants that aren't edible to us. So long as you have sufficient water pigs basically turn by products of farming for stuff we eat into delicious bacon.

nothing is effectiant about factory farming, most of our methane gas comes from out factory farmed animals, our water supply and the food they eat , is not completely inedibly . also the food they eat isnt even something theyre supposed to be eating, cows and corn? no cows and grass? yes. but they dont eat grass,

so what they do since corn and wheat effect their stomachs is give them pills to stay alive enough to get fat enough,
and than you ingest that in your body.

not very healthy

It's sad but it's not about to stop me from eating meat. The circle of life typically involves eating or being eaten. I know which end of that I like to be on. A quick look at the human body shows that we are clearly designed to eat meat. Let's see binocular vision, sharp teeth for ripping through flesh, a digestive system designed to process nutrients from a mixture of sources but not process cellulose. Yup we're totally meant to graze and should abandon the barbarism of eating tasty animals.
wut, most primates have binocular vision and are vegetarian. Do you really think human teeth are designed to rip flesh?

Well, there are differences in grain grades between animal and human feed.
Developing sustainable farming practices would do far more for hungry children in other places than
sending low grade grains for them to consume.

Again, you would have to kill off the animals to make room for the crops we can eat.

Animals can live off silage and hay, we cannot.

Using animals products allows humans to live in places where we wouldn't have been able to otherwise.

Shhh, don't mention encroachment of habitat. Heads will explode.
I can drive less than 10 miles and show bare land used for grain farming
and numerous acres of bush pushed to piles and then left for a large fire.

So, a considerable amount of free range animals have lost their homes and are forced to move.

I've always wondered... what is considered a humane way to slaughter an animal??? Killing in general isn't really a "humane" thing. The word humane shouldn't even be called humane, because humans are the worst at it.

I understand that the lives these animals live sucks, and they probably look forward to slaughter day

Haven't read any of this thread yet but I bet it's full of a bunch of insensitive douchebag comments where people think they're tough guys for killing and/or eating animals. The only reason people eat animals unless it's to survive is for taste and because they were fed, taught, and accustomed to eating it since childhood. You don't need to eat animals for protein, calcium, B12, or ANYTHING. The vast majority of Americans eat meat, dairy, and grains (and most likely gmo) for most meals and wonder why America is so fucking obese, depressed, diseased, and unaware. Think of your body as an expensive car, you wouldn't put the wrong gas or oil or whatever in your car otherwise it wouldn't run as efficient as it could. Well, it's the same way with your body. Put a bunch of gmo's, pesticides/chemicals, fast food, meat, processed food in your body and your body simply cannot run as efficiently as it should, and this is then seen in the form of chronic disease or psychological disorders like depression or learning problems.

I ate a turkey sandwich while reading this, it was yummy gonna have 2nds

As some of you know I'm a pest control tech, I do live trapping and am supposed to kill what I catch...
The irony is I need to check the trap daily, because it's cruel to the animal that's caught

I tried, but the dude even admitted to his own hyperbole in the first moments of his speech. Nuclear explosions, scenes depicting multiple tornados tearing a city apart, telling me that animals ruin the world during production because they are using up all our water and destroy the landscape, global warming oh noses, and then something about cow farts fucking up our earth as well, which literally made me lol.

That was just the first two minutes. Im sure the next 18 would of been just as informing.

How ironic. The only way to save them, is to kill them.

So many think that for it to be humane, that it has to be completely painless and instant. But then you show them the bolt gun to the head, and they cry foul, even though that is as quick and painless as it gets when used properly. Or the grinder they use for the unwanted male chicks, it takes less than a second to completely destroy them, but oh nose it's a grinder so it has to be a terrible way to die.

It's like they want you to hold each individual animal in your arms, praise it in all it's glory, and then give it the magic breath of sleep and it just calmly goes away in a sea of bliss.

I find vegans to think like creationists and act like westboro church members.

Is there anyone here who actually thinks eating meat is healthy? By the way, just because something contains vitamins and protein doesn't make it healthy. It's about the trade-off. And your body loses to the dead animal. So when you kill an animal and eat it, it ends up killing you from the inside. What's the difference if someone shot 10 deer or if someone walked into an elementary school and shot 10 children? Why is human life more valuable than animal life? Because some humans say so?

LMAO, you don't need to kill of animals to make room for produce. Plus there wouldn't be as many animals if factory farms weren't artificially inseminating them to produce more animal product to sell. Your logic behind not watching the video is simply your close-mindedness and ignorance.

My life depends on consumption of the same meat that I am morally and religiously opposed to eating. I do sometimes wonder why that is. But whether the consumption of meat is morally right or ethically wrong why couldn't we be humane in our prosecution of it?
One day the genetic engineers will save us. I look forward to the day when I harvest a watermelon, open it up and pull out a standing rib roast.

How do people with allergies to insulin survive? I'm sure you have a solution to this one. Can you even explain to me genetically why the propensity for this is even in our epigenome? How about Diabetes Mellitus (not type II), explain it's inclusion in our genome?

I despair..... jt PLEASE leave these topics to sunni and other less zealous proponents of vegetarian/veganism. You simply hurt the case and we need reason and rationale discourse, not hysterical lies to convince people to consider other avenues.
