HPS Reveals all - what they look like "the next morning"

Most know that HPS shots are not very good. This one kind of makes me giggle b/c these plants look exquisite in person and they look like the winy little bitches that they are in this HPS shot.

In the mix - all a first for me from Attitude. Looking for comments on first hand experience with these strains.

OG Kush
Kush n' CHeese
LA Chocolat

I don't know. It was a freebie from an Attitude order. The nugs are super dense on it. They were all vegged from seed for 8 weeks and are presently wrapping up week 7 in flower.

The KnC is starting to amber quite noticeably. The OGK is just starting to amber. Looks like the LAC is is going to take it's time.

please don't insult your plants. You're insulting me as well considering those are so fuckin thick they look like footballs are growing lol.

And those colas are small... the HPS lamps need to be replaced on the next cycle or these would be twice the size they are in the picture.

Questions welcomed but does anyone actually have any productive comments on these strains?

how long did you veg?
how long was flower?
how was flower and namely trich development at harvest time?
how large were the plants?
how much did they yield?
What was potency like?
What was taste/aroma like?
etc...

I'll post some night time photos right before the lights come on today. Around 12pm EST.

I cut the Kush n Cheese down last night. 8 weeks seems a little early but it's about 20% amber or more on the calyx and even more on the sugar leaves so go figure.

Anyone got first hand experience growing KnC under 1ks? What was your harvest time?

Sheesh, how did the LA Choc end up doing?. I have one at day 56 of 12/12 and another 2 weeks min to go before she is finally done. The top cola is still shooting out white pistils . Most of the lower buds are another week away from finishing. The DNA estimate of 8-9 weeks total flowering is a little conservative by my estimates. On the plus side, LA Choc looks like are keeper in my garden. A sample nug at day 47 , showed a wonderfully fun and still very focused sativa high. There will be certainly more body to it as time goes on. I am liking this LA Choc quite a bit , just wish it would finish soon . I now understand how patience can be the hardest thing about growing

I'm not quite sure what is going on in this thread; if it's just trolling or it's straight up arrogance.

That post is just ridiculous.

If you made a simple google search you would find your vague answers (like every other answer to those questions would be) in 2 seconds.

Nearly everything you asked is relative and hinges on a lot of variables.
Therefore it's different for anyone growing the same strain in a different setup with different variables.

Just because someone grows the same strain as another person does not mean that veg time, flower time, trichome development, size of plants, yield, potency etc. are all the same as the other person.
Every grow is different, because every grow room is different and has different variables (air circulation, CO2 levels, nutrient solution, light setup etc.).

If you want vague guidelines then go google the strain you are growing and look at one of those vague supplier websites where they put up that borderline misinformation.

My point is, there is no reason for you to make snide remarks about wanting "productive comments" (insinuating none of the comments here are productive) when you are asking generic vague questions which nobody could give you a proper answer to.
The only exception being taste/aroma, which as I pointed out already, could easily be found by a simple google search.

I did some LA Con two years ago outdoor and it was some good smoke! It took all of ten weeks and could have went longer but frost and rain were wreaking havoc. I hung dried the plants whole for a week, chopped, trimmed and jarred. I remember it smoking well and had great taste while curing. The jars I let cure for two months smoked extremely smooth and potent and stunk like crazy when opened. I'm currently doing an outdoor grow of Connie Chung which came from a cross of LA Con and G13 Haze. They are on day 50 and have at least two weeks to go. Look forward to seeing your LA Con harvest pics!

Update on LAC. It was the highest yielding strain I've done so far. One plant put out 10 OZ. I had to do two separate harvests to stay legal.

Look, smell and taste was okay. Resin production wasn't the best. The potency, I don't really know because I only got a couple samples down and my patients took it faster than it could be properly cured.

I suggest you calm down.

Perhaps also read a few stickies in the 'Support' section of the forums.
