[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]hey im looking to grab some seeds and don't know which strain to go with, i want something that has a decent finish time anything 9 weeks and under, and a really good yielder, i dont want it to be lacking in potency something that has some kick to it, also good bag appeal, i know it seems like im looking for the holy grail but i have seen some strains out there that fit this, so if you guys have grown anything like this and feel like posting id appreciate it, if you have grown it pics would be awsome, thanks! I would think any indica dominant strain that doesn't branch too much and produces dense, solid buds would do you right if vegged for a week and ran in a SOG style under a 1000hps over a 4x4 area. Something that has vigorous growth in veg and a 8 week flowering time would be perfect imo. Maybe something like Mazar or hashberry if you where planning on going that route would put out quality and quantity.

Also from my experience S.A.G.E. is a good producer 50/50 indica-sativa hybrid with top quality smoke (Bag appeal, smell, taste, effects). It works well if you veg it out into a bush and top it. Never tried scrogging it but im sure that works great too.

Greenhouse Seeds Chemdog (OG Kush and Sour Diesel) was good smoke and good yielder in my experience. It was also very easy to trim. People will say it's not the real Chemdog and that may be true, but people asked more about Chemdog than the other strains I had at the time. I grow primarily for personal use, but I'll pretend to have a hard to get a hold of hook-up for a few people I know.

Dinafem Critical + has always been my go to strain for a reliable short flowering heavy yielding Indica, Tis a nice fruity smoke with low leaf to bud ratio and good branching and at 50 days average!
I've only ever done it from seed form and grown out about 12-15 seeds over the past few years and always good!

My 2 p's worth

Peace

Top commercial strains imo- Northern Lights, Critical, Big Bud, Blue Dream, Chronic, AK47, Power Plant, Grapefruit, Mango, Super Skunk, God Bud, Shit, Rhino, Rockstar, Afghani- any of these will treat you well. Best luck growing and make sure to have good ventilation for any of these strains. Next would be the consideration of quicker but smaller crops or bigger crops but longer flowering times............... either way about it, if you aren't a top notch grower with a dialed in room- it wont matter what you run since you wont work them to their upmost potential. Good luck.

CH9 Blue Lemon Thai. Have one now that's already looking like it will be a massive producer 5 weeks in. Googled grow report/pics and the buds are straight up MASSIVE.

I agree with everything you said there, except for the last statement. Even assuming a novice grower, without a dialed in room, some strains will simply outperform others. IE, strain DOES still matter, and in my opinion, a beginner trying to grow commercially will still do better with a "cash cropper" than with a random strain.

Since I've had good luck with it, I'd like to toss in Williams Wonder as a suggestion. That one used to be a really popular cash-cropping strain in the early 1990s, then after the original commercial breeder disappeared, the strain was sort of "lost" for a while. This one is really a 65 day strain, so it just edges past the 9 week mark, but I think it more than makes up for it with super high yield, high bud density, and potency. This one works really well for "sea of green" style grows. See the grow report in my signature for more details.

What is that like a half oz plant??
You could say that. . .the biggest cola weighed about 1/2 an ounce dried and trimmed by itself, which is not bad for a plant that's only 24 inches tall.

Note that the weight here is more than it looks because the buds are super-dense. The colas are so heavy, the side ones will go horizontal under their own weight if you don't prop them up. Here's a pic from a different plant showing just that, with a ruler for scale:

Again, if you're really after max weight, you'll want to grow this "sea of green" style, with lots of smaller plants, each pruned to make just one large cola.
