your pretty much spot on u take clones from the bottom because there the easiest to clone something about haveing the proper amount of horomones u pick a clone about 4-6 inches and you cut on a 45degree then cut off everything exept 2 sets of nodes, if ur not going to dip them in rooting gel or whatever u have right away u can place in a cup of water until ur ready, i use jiffy pellets there flat and u add warm water and they expand or rockwool, u dip them i use clonex and put them in the jiffy plug and gently pack around the stem, then i put my dome over them because they need alot of humidty and spray once a day and open the lid on my dome for 15minutes and put back under my flurescents lights, i think flurescents r the best type of light to use on clones, oh yeah i also have a heat mat i put under the tray, 75-80 r the temps, hope that helps ive had like 90% germination from this technique
that sure does help. My biggest thing with the dome setting is not knowing whether the humidity is right inside. My luck, mine have always been too soggy :(
no water in the tray, right?

yup u dont want soggy soggy bad, u want moist, even seeds dont like soggy, soggy=equals no oxgen for the roots, ive killed so many seeds from overwatering if they didnt come up right away i would water them thinking i was doing a good thing but nope i was killing them, now i wont water shit until im a 100% that shit is dry and needs it

Peach, if you want to try the pucks that's fine, but you know I just put mine in soil, right?
Here's a link, or you can go to Pike's Nursery or Tractor Supply if you just want a few.

yeah, I know this now LOL
I used to be the same way, watering everything to death. Now I wait until the soil is 80% dry or more and just give the plants a "drink". Works a lot better ;)
I also do my seeds in soil, 100% germination technique...I simply fill my solo cup up with soil, push a little hole in the middle, and spray the soil with water till damp on top, then put a little plastic bag over the top and wait. Works every time :)

You are a freakin guru. lol..... You can just get anything to work for you huh? :)
I'll have to get some info from you about your cloning technique.(pm me if you don't mind sharing). I will try anything that helps my garden out....

EDIT: Besides jack off on my buds.... lol

I got the Milwaukee myself. worked fine when i used to use it. lol.... I just don't bother with pH at the moment. If and When i switch nutrients again i'll need it. but until then it's packed away with the rest of the unused grow room stuff.

IDK man, not a guru, just lucky with the small things like that.
My bagseed in the white bucket started out as 3 branches I just lazily just lopped off my inter indoor plant and stuffed in a cup of soil I had sitting there to top off my pot, you know how the soil settles after time.
I didn't really even expect them to live, I just put them there because cup was there, branches were there........
Then, just a little while ago, I took a cutting from the Diesel and inspected it looking for pollen sacks starting to form, but when I didn't find any, I just cut the stem at a 45, and stuffed it in a cup of my regular soil.
I yanked it out after 2 1/2 weeks, and used that same cup to start the Mammoth I have going now.
I use the same soil/ Perlite for everything, starting beans, transplanting, and both tries at clones.Jan4pic1_zpsff72bacd.jpg

This I took one day after I decided to water when I got home, planned around noon, but by the time I got home, it was closer to 6 and it had been HOT ALL day.:-(July1bagseedforgottowater_zps9f6b5844.jpg

As you can see in this pic, I didn't even bother to cut off the popcorn that was there since I lopped it off during flower.July6bagseedoldbudfromreveg_zpsc825faba.jpg

Those look great man!
That's going fast for only 6 weeks in.
My outdoor ones don't look near that far along and they're at least 8 weeks.:-(
Not a damaged or chewed leaf in sight on top of that!
I wish I had room inside to do more than 1 plant.
