I have my "personal FedEx" set to EST times so I know when, my time, shit gets shipped and received. However they will only update once it's midnight, "the latest", from the ORIGIN of the package(CA) . and at 3-4 AM it'll say it was sorted and shipped from the next state over and then it'll get to my state by 5-6AM and be at my door for 10-12 tomorrow. That is how my Apollo 400w system came in last week.
dude u never know really. half the time they just guess the tracking. its not always accurate

When you can only ship in by plane or boat it tends to cost more. HAHA ICE ROAD TRUCKERS CAN'T DRIVE ON WATER! j/k :) How's AK anyway? I've heard it's amazing. My old buddy Canadian Dan is from there. not sure where but I know he used to talk ALL THE TIME about how much fun it was where he lived.

AK is the greatest place (IMHO) to live and work - plus my wife tells me I'm not allowed to leave without her supervision.
And just for giggles.
A 50 lb box (UPS Red) from South Carlina (for instance) is $337.00

I picked up a nice pressure washer last winter - they wanted to charge me more for shipping it (UPS Ground) than the damn thing cost. :fire::cuss::finger::cuss::fire:

I ended up picking it up from Amazon at a better price with free freight.

I've found my best luck to be USPS I hate to admit, because I'm still pissed at them for how long I used to pay 'express' rates going back and forth from close to you, to Oregon, and then one day by mistake, a package shipped 'first class' on the same day as an 'express' arrived first.:wall:

Note to self...........
Be careful when playing with your CFL's and you haven't turned off the source.
I haven't done it, yet..........
I KNOW it's only a matter of time, and I always tell myself to turn shit off, but I guess I won't learn until I :dunce:doublebulbadaptors_zpsa9b430c0.jpg

And turn it off yourself !

Years ago I climbed behind the electric dryer to check the coils as it didn't seem to be heating like it should. Told the ex to un-plug & wouldn't you know it - she turned it off.

Huge mistake    , in an electrically induced spasm I put the back of my head through the drywall in two places.

Note to self, make sure the power is REALLY secured !

When I split wood (with my music pod thingy) I either have a chain saw or wood splitter running so no one can hear me.
What I tend to forget is when I'm stacking & both machines are off all the neighbors think either Jimmy Buffet or The Amazing Rhythm Aces are in town.

Also label your own cables if you're doing the power cut. I had #2 tapped down from 2/0 running into the back of a 1200 amp fuse bay. Someone mislabled my ground and load in the DC system. I melted a quarter inch piece of copper the size of a nickel when I dropped the ground in that was supposed to be the load. I don't know how I didn't die. I saw the white flashes, heard the sudden POP! a little smoke, and singed the hair on the back of my hand. The cable didn't stick to the copper plate somehow.

Ouch !! Time for stitches and peroxide.

Fkn OUCH !!
Happened when I was a teenager, helping my step-dad snake out the line from the house to the septic tank. Got gnashed up pretty good, but dealing with sewage even cleaning it didn't help enough, next day I had red streaks up my arm and to the hospital I went...where they proceeded to rip it all open again and scrub it out with a bristle brush and iodine. I just about shit myself.

If you don't like chawawas (lol) I suggest you take it up with your dad, Black Jesus. I also feel that he made a mistake there, perhaps. Your dad smoke weed? Cuz God definitely was a bit stoned at least when Cheewahwahs were made.
Even God gets his best ideas when he's stoned.
