I hear a lot of talk about GSC, but have not tried it yet. I see it in all the dispensaries though. Would love to see how it comes out.

cause i'm bored... here is our set up :P very fancy, as you can see

that is sweet basil, gerbera daisies and a bashful sunflower, clockwise from 7 o'clock/1900. and then a weed plant on the right ;-) i snipped those two other leaves off yesterday. they were a bit scraggly and quite large, so i felt they were using up too much light real estate without properly distributing light/plant-generated nutrients

the bottle caps were for drainage. clearly not in use atm lol


we still have not used anything other than tap water, our light bulbs and sunlight on this plant. assuming this bad boy is still doing well by the coming weekend, we will begin offering nutes and possibly start flowering or gearing up to flower! SPOOKY! :eek::eek::eek::cool:

ETA: still don't know if it's male or female, LOL... is there any way to make a fair guess other than by attempting to flower?

very fancy! telling sex is usually easy. thumb thru the book you grabbed to the sexing part cause im lazy to type...lol

also what happens if it's a dude and we flower it? nothing? just gets bigger..? lol...

Yeah there is no way to know until it actually sexes. I have seen tons of myths... if it does this, or if it does that, if it looks like this, or looks like that, etc. and every single one of those myths have been proven wrong through my own experiences. When it sexes you will know, until then it is merely a guessing game.

As far as flowering a male...

His organs will grow. Instead of a bud of female calyxs you will have a big cluster of balls. 2-3 weeks after it is confirmed male the pollen sacks (balls) will swell and burst open dropping the pollen to float all over and impregnant females in the area.

really stupid question - if it's a male would there be enough thc in the leaves to make hash? also i've never made hash before... i can't even make proper edibles :( lol! i would really like to try making it, or ice wax one day... provided you don't need fire/butane for ice wax cause i'm a bit scared of fire hehe

anyway i'm super biz-aked off some bombbbb Super Bubba Kush so here's a picture of our guard dogs with my boo's socks on their snouts lolol

If you have a male that has progressed as far as in the pics in the post above, it has already delivered its "load" to all the female flowers and they are no longer sinsemilla (virgin), and will have seeds.

ugh fuck everything. now i'm paranoid if we keep this plant alive and it turns out to be male and drops even a small amount of pollen, all of our female seeds we just bought will hermie :/

Olimar is reading up on and mixing nutes right now!! :) :) but now I'm nervous about the potential spermzzzz
