Man, I bought a philips led bulb like 2 weeks ago and slowly came to the idea to put like 40 in a box idea, and finalllllllly stumbled across this shit. I think its really smart, I like the philips bulbs the $10 award winners for this cause the cri is suppose to be like 92(?) I dont know about the crees but Im sure its high. I'm trying to figure out the MINIMUM amount of watts or lumens needed from high CRI LEDs like per sq/foot for still dense bud or at least triched out. Any suggestions? thanks

I'm on 18:6, so I guess we'll see. There are a lot of differences, but I'm hoping to have some tight nodes as well. Maybe I'll mainline one and LST/scrog the other one.

Edit: You said the light stays at 18"?? (mine is 18" from light to top of the plant)

Where the hell have I been for this thread? You make me want to try DWC again, but my landlords have outlawed it. Humidity reasons.. the housing in my area is all low-humidity material. Hydro grows cause a lot of permanent damage to houses around here. But you sure make it look easy. 67% tops? Do you run a dehumidifier?

I go out on the spit of land where the Salty Dawg Saloon is located nearly every morning, on the morning I took those pictures I FROZE my ass off just out of the car a few minutes, windy out there it adds to the chill factor and were still getting 30's at night, low 40's days, summers coming then winter again LOL

I've been kinda agonizing over the limited head space I have for the light panel pulleys, I only have 30" above the surface of the platform that the container or bucket rim will hang. This would normally be at soil level, here at this point will be where the stalk enters the "root chamber" using a dense foam rubber gasket inserted in the 2" hole of the chamber lid, surrounding the stalk for light blockage.

PROBLEM IS: how do I keep an eye on the roots? I've been looking at waterproof mini web cams? with small led lights to aid in vision, does anyone have any experience with these? After talking to the DAWG he explained the second tier of PVC in his frame for his supercharged system https://www.rollitup.org/led-other-lighting/644641-all-cree-led-plus-waterfarm-13.html allows him to lift his ladies and check under the skirt and admire the roots. I can't do that I don't have the space above. I have also been looking for clear polycarbonate or glass 3-5 gallon containers, I would prefer something I could see through like that.

I'm curious how they would turn out if you flipped to flower now, but at the same time, I think you should veg for 4 more weeks and train the bish. Nice to see a plant that hasn't been pruned to hell though.

right on right on Yea I'm aware of the roots, and res in the dark requirement ( actually with the upper bunk platform that I have to cut a hole in to hang/suspend/mount the root compartments so everything below can be in the dark. wonder about very low light for web cam video ? are sterlite container clear? who has them? Thanks again blueberry smoke break

ps any idea/suggestion for a kick ass, short ass, strain(s) for me to get ordered, I have a friend coming up from Colorado soon.
