turbo klone help please

Hello my names Jesse, I am a new member but have been reading post from here for a while now. I just got a turbo kloner T48 and have a 4' T5 6bulbs.. around 2nhalf feet over kloner.. I am flat broke so have no ppm meter just old school ph drops n vile.. don't even hav a gd temp guage.. I'm using the kind u stick inside a turkey to check temp lol but anywho here is my problem besides the obvious.. I am using distilled water 4gallons and ph is at 6.0 I use clonex rooting gell and clonex nutes.. I added 16 teaspoons of the clonex nutes because it says to add 4 teaspoons for every gallon. Water temp says 84.. it has been 5days and I'm concerned they won't root and I absolutely need them too.. some are getting hard above lid.. and even getn little bit of yellow on leaves. I will post pics once I figure out how lol. My big plants are all doing great and are huge and bushy! I use lumatek ballast and 2 1000hps in the big kahuna hood. All vented with a can 75.. fan pushing 590cfm for can and fan for lights pushing 660cfm white panda polly.. ac controlled room.. 4 wall mounted 18" fans.. 7 gallon ventilated bags, roots organic formula 707 for soil and all heavy16 nutes for my big plants. ?? Any thoughts or tips etc? It's my very first time growing! Thanks for the help

Ph ing plain water is a waste. Cuttings will usually take 9-14 days to root, very few strains will be faster.

I'm using distilled water at 6.0 with clonex nutes.. what do you mean by plain water?

I put 2 frozen spring water bottles 16oz'ers in res last night.. this morning all plants were standing tall. think its been temp whole time. Have to be low 70's.. anything higher and it will take forever. Also as far as me ph'ing the plain distilled water, well that is because you can buy distilled water off shelf but some brands read 7.0ph and others 6.5 etc so why wouldnt you want to test the PH if it isn't even on cue with buying distilled off shelf?

Because ph only affects nute uptake via the roots. Without roots there is no nutes, thus no need to ph.

Run plain tap water! No nutes and no need to ph. run the pump on 80 seconds and off 8 minutes. As SS said it will take 9-14 days to root and some strains may be longer or shorter. My White widow and Blue widow both root in 7-8 days and my Kushberry takes 12-13 days to show roots. In Aero I have 100% success rate!

i am kinda curious about how much money you got into a grow room and that this is your first grow.. your looking at thousand dollars not a couple hundred on a few cfl's .. you sure have alot of spare money to throw on grow equipment to be a new grower,, but what do know i am using candles to grow mine, lol

Damn I got you beat I'm at the end of my first year and have about 15k into mine now. and half of that is sitting in my storage unit to be unused after my new setup.

Plain water zero phing
once you start seeing roots change out the water
and add nutes and start phing.

Normally see roots in 7days and by 10 half the cloner is ready
and by 14 theres 98% ready

Sorry guys haven't been online in a few been getting no sleep lol but I have everything under wraps now! thanks for the help. My Ph was actually off! Because I added ph before putting nutes into res.. basically wasn't getn accurate ph balance. So in the end I was amping up the ph! Got everything running at 5.8 now.. bought new equipment to get everything in order. I don't turn it off at all. How I've been gettn temp to stay in low 70's is from puttn 2 16oz frozen spring water bottles every hou I replace. And yes this is my first grow.. I took my income tax of almost 10g and invested it all in setup. Even though its my first grow I actually know more about growing then people who been doing it for years! Been studing about it most of my life and not just bud but all plants. Was havn trouble cause I lacked a few key pieces of equipment that made all the difference in the world. Have to have the ppm meter and digital ph! Here are some new pics hope u enjoy. Take care

I didn't have meters cause I didn't have the cash for them and didn't want to buy cheap ones... but obviously bought cheap ones to get bye and yes I do know quite a bit and I am sure I could teach you all a great deal just like you all could teach me a great deal about stuff I haven't learned about that maybe you guys know etc,etc.. It never hurts to ask questions when you want to know something. Just cause I know a great deal about growing does not mean I am a pro or know it all. It simply means I know my shit more so then your average grower. but anywho I didn't load the pics last time sorry... here you guys go... and on a side note obviously I know how to grow if I am getting the big ass bushes that I am getting. each plant of mine will have a min of 2pounds and I have only been growing them for past 5months but when I got them they were all a ft tall. Now they are taller then me! and I am 5'11

thank you superstoner for your help... but in my defense I was never able to check ph after adding nutes before because of not using digital meter... used drops! so made it hard but I thought I could get away with not having to buy a cheap pen. wanted to buy the one with the probe. but anywho thanks again bro much appreciated take care

Also bro.. I figured I could get bye with drops and this was first time using a clong machine! Also didn't think I had to check ppm's if I was following clonex directions on how much to give clones. But what I didn't realize is that u can't follow the directions in the beginning cause it amps it up way too much! Also why wouldn't you want to feed nutes right away? Way I see it is if plant can suck up water without roots then it must also be takn in the nutes not just water n spitting out the nutes.. that don't make sense to me. K I'm out later guys

The way you see it is wrong. I hate to be rude about it but if you know sooooooo much, as you have readily stated, you would know that. Time to do some reading on how a plant absorbs and uses each element. It will greatly further your vast knowledge, along with the proper equipment.

What I stated is I knew a lot about growing but didn't know it all! And everyone can always learn something along the way even people who been growing 20years! People can always learn something. And also as I stated it was and is my first time using a clone machine and really haven't done much reading into hydro or aero! And yes 2pounds a plant guaranteed!! Actually may even get 3 on some! My buddy harvested his and weren't even a quarter of size of mine and he got a pound a plant! I have between 50 to 100 tops per plant of my big ones! And still veg.. so yes willl get huge yeild! Yes same strains as my buddy and he uses less power lights and doesn't even have near setup as me. I will get over 10 pounds of 6 plants. Look up world record cannabis plants and check out video u see on google search. I plan on growing some of my plants to be 20fters and 10 to 15 ft in diameter! anywho thank you all again for your help and thank you for teaching me some stuff that will turn that will save me time, money and stress but wasn't looking for attitude and i wasnt to be rude at all.. so just cause I say I know a lot about growing.. that apparently bothers some of to you?! Guess I don't know anything to have the setup I have must of just magically appeared! Some friggn gost must of built my rooms and setup up all my equipment and picked out the right equipment for my size room etc.. then ghost must of grew big plants without any health issues of any kind. All those tops must of just grew on their own! I obviously don't know much. Seriously dude just cause I say I know a great deal doesn't mean I'm some kind of pro or can't ever learn more?! I was simply stating that cause some guy was doubtfull that it was my first grow so I was saying it may of been my first grow but I still had and have a lot of knowledge about growing. Been helping family and buddies my whole life! Going on my yields there is no strain I couldn't turn into a 2 plus pound plant. When it comes to soil I would challenge anyone to Quiz me on my knowledge if you think I Couldn't possibly know much.. including the technical science behind soil growing! Seriously quiz me! And I'm not tryn to act like I know it all cause I don't and far from it.. but I didn't come on this site for an attitude cause I never gave anyone one! And I didn't come on this site for people to attack me just cause I say I know a lot about. Versas just helping one another out. And all the knowledge I have is not anything I ever asked help on! I asked for help about something I didn't have much knowledge on! So why focus on what wasn't asked?! Just to start some kind of shit?! Drama?! That's what's wrong with this world too many people like starting shit versas just helping one another out. For instants I give so free advice.. take c02 burners.. some people use them from start to finish of grow not knowing its bad to do that.. reason being is using burner through veg just makes them grow tall and lengthy. You only want to use a c02 burner during flower stages to get max benefits from it. And most people probably don't know a plant can handle 2000 before it dies and people can handle 4000 before they die.. using through flower stage you would want to regulate with enviromental controller to keep between 1300 to 1500 for max benefits take tying down plants and growing up the centers.. and if done right and topped enough you can grow a 2ft plant that has over 300 tops! I've seen it and helped grow a plant exactly like that. When it comes to soil growing that's where all my knowledge is.. but anywho let's stop the bickering gd luck and take care
