Top 10 Favorite Breeders??

I would doubt that most people could really pick a top 10 based on experience ,which is the only real reason you can even judge in the first place. I know some people are hardcore, but in reality to properly judge it you would have to have grown most if not all of a breeders gear, extensively to determine whether or not they are good or not.Can you judge a breeder because of your minimal experience with 1 or 2 strains. I don't think so. Grow all of a breeders strains ,at least 3 times and then decide.. So if you want just imperfect opinions ,DNA would be top for me ,they have a stellar rep, and when I tried them once myself I got A+++ results.Sannies probably next though I don't have experience, there is not a bad word to be found about them, then sensi, who have a legendary rep.. then greenhouse..nah just kidding

I'm just gonna post to give some big ups to Sannie & crew (I currently run Jack F7, Killing Fields, KO Kush, New Blue Diesel, Holy Princess, Anesthesia) Bodhi (Jabba's Stash, Goji OG, Ancient OG, Road Kill Unicorn, Snow Leopard, more) Dynasty (Caramel Cough and waiting for some Crater Lake v.4) and Mandala (Satori, Beyond the Brain, and a Nepali hashplant lookin' beast I got from a Safari Mix pack) and if you are willing to pheno hunt you can still find crazy good shit in Sensi packs, I have a Maple Leaf Indica that is a beast (there were also some weak girls in that pack.) I've also got some Top Dawg and Gage Green waiting in the wings. I could talk some shit about other breeders, but other people around here are more than willing to do that for me, it seems. I don't have a problem with anyone a bunch of other people don't also have problems with, and we'll leave it at that.

Whazzup's (Breeder's Choice) Anesthesia is actually probably the frostiest plant in my garden right now. Can't wait to finish it. All my bitches are frosty, but I wish they were all this frosty:

I'd run Mandala, Sensi, Next generation/Federation, Tom Hill, Breeders Botique and quite a few others too. I'd run just about anything really, but some breeders have my attention more than others.

I'd like to run some d420 and jaws gear but haven't bought either but both look like some winners. I'm currently running some pre 1999 ghs super silver haze gifted to me from a good buddy ECSD on a different forum. So he might get added to the list cuz he gave me like 9 different strains so we'll see

Round numbers are overrated:

1. Sannie Seeds - I only used seeds from 3 commercial breeders (besides free/friend/bag seeds), and Sannie strains are in-my-humble-experience very "strong". I have 2 plants from Sannie Seeds now just as backup, cause I don't have that much faith in the others.
2. DNA Genetics - because of the cool name. No seriously, because I want to grow the Chocolope and Chocolope Kush AND read good things/experiences in a local dutch forum (and more bad things about others).
3. Barney's Farm - I'm a bit pissed because they ignored my email complaining about germinating results (1 out of 5 Liberty Haze, while I was expecting 5 out of 5 as usual, but hoping for at least 4), but I'm probably going to try them again some time in the future because I enjoy the weed they sell at their shop.

I see a lot of griping about Barneys Farm in various threads, it is surprising to see so many people list that as one of their favorite breeders.

lmao why the hell would i give someone my money a third time if the first two runs were garbage!! yes i can decide if a company is good off of one or two experiences because if you even HAVE garbage genetics if theirs even a CHANCE i get crap im done with ya bottom line...too many truly good breeders out their who dont let crap slip into packages with their name to make a quick buck!! plus what do you mean you have to run all their shit to see if its bunk or not..nope if everyone online has the same experience and you gave it a try and had the same bad experience thats enough for me, if everyone had to run everything to make a decision these guys would be in their graves laughing with our money by the time anyone said, yup we were right its crap! one run and done if you cant impress me or at least hold par with other companies i dont give the benefit of the doubt ill never buy their bunk shit again!

Then why do you grow TGA? two runs of pheno hell showed me better

This thread is stupid. You don't care if the people grew the breeders gear or not? I could list a top 10 of breeders I've met just based on what I think of them as people, haven't grown any strains produced by most of them. But what good does my opinion of a few people in the industry do anyone? None. This thread is useless if people just name breeders without any experience with their genes.

Agree with ya.

i dont care about having different phenos if they are all decent..i ran paradise whiteberry and had 3 different phenos all similar in growth though and that seems to be pretty common and doesnt bother me its definitely not just tga..you can get a woman pregnant three times and even though its you and the woman each time you get different but similar kids right? how do you expect them to breed exact twins?!?! to me complaining about too many phenos is being unreasonable however if i buy a pack and get a couple hermies (dutch passion blueberry) or the plants stall out (my experience with cali connects bhudda tahoe freebie) then thats not up to a standard that i expect even on the lowest level, and those companies are the ones that just dont deserve a second shot whereas if i grow say for example because this ones true, a dinafem auto freebie and it doesnt measure up im not slamming dinafem for it im slamming autos i understand sometimes you need to try another strain but their is no excuse for hermies or stalled out unhearty plants when thats what they are getting paid for! btw ive only grown agent orange so far by tga though i had no issues so i will rep them for it of a five pack had a buddy i was teaching kill two which was his fault and then one male and two females of the two females both wreacked like orange peels and grew similarly so i personally have not even had a difference in phenos when running tga although i will say i wont grow the ao again just didnt hit me as special ill try something else with the space!

idk i guess i dont feel like its their fault the pheno thing..on the paradise whiteberry i mentioned i did have one of the five that was a runt ass shitty plant and i just dont feel that after they all grew uniformly and even though they had different traits, that i was shorted in any way as far as quality because of the one shitty plant...its a crap shoot..but i guess i draw the line at the pack that hermies out, that had to be their fault lol or if i got a pack and it was ALLL shitty phenos then i hear ya but that didnt happen to me yet with tga

Yes this is all true. I know Dutch passion has a bad rep with hermi traits, but I grew their Frisian dew and it did really well, finished faster than any of my other strains and was exactly what I was hoping for! And the Frisian dew is the one strain of theirs I wanted... So yes, Dutch passion is on my top 10 list although it may not be on yours which I totally understand.

If the pheno thing isn't the breeders fault, whose is it?
It's not a fault, it's nature.

Sorry, felt like being a smart ass for second there, different phenos is not a fault but an opportunity. Not always suitable for commercial growers though, if the differences are too large, but as a grower for personal stash, I much rather have some variation than clones.

Surely there is some variation even when stabilized but when a supposed strain shows great variance to the point that there are no similarities indicates they are just pollen chucking and in no way breeding
