The little ladies are really responding well to the transplant. I taped them down today. FA1 &2 are getting really bushy! I will start bloom nuts and calcium either tomor or Sat. Also, I threw the auto freebies from the attitude bday promo: Super Cheese Auto and Candy Cheese Auto or whatever. I think I have 4 additional auto beans and I will decide in the next couple days whether I will pop them now or in a few weeks.

IMG_0475.jpgIMG_0476.jpgIMG_0477.jpgIMG_0478.jpgIMG_0479.jpgIMG_0480.jpgFA 1&2 is fully developing and just about to be buds. FA 3&4 and the White Cheese can hardly be called the "little ladies" any more. My autos "Candy Cheese" and "Super Cheese" both popped above ground.. Thankfully I didn't have to do any digging or give them any help at all. The Candy has already started working on her first true leaves while the SC is too early to say much of anything and still has shell on. My pics of FA 1&2 didn't really take right so I'll have to take some more tomor when I feed.

Looks great man, I've been following the progress. So you gave up on the HTG 7-band 432W? Any particular reason?

I also changed my original plan of using 2 of the HTG 240w to 3 of them (1 for each plant in flower). That gives me right at 400w at the plug so sayeth Mr. kill-o-watt and I'm spreading the footprint better I think. I harshed my plants by letting them get root bound, but I've been impressed with the growth that I've seen from the LEDs. I'm going to stick with mine through flower. Those are some sweet lights you replaced it with though. My old lady would thump my skull if I dropped that kind of cash on lights lol

Here's a pic of the cab.... designed for 3 plants in flower, not 4 oops. Mores better yeah? Hope you don't mind me dropping a pic in your thread.

I actually have the HTG in my veg tent currently. I think the Area 51s and California LightWorks are better for flowering and I noticed the plants actually seemed to prefer the blue of the HTG for the Veg. I'm getting 4 autos going that I'm going to see what they do under the HTG and 24 hr light. Your box looks great(good coverage) and congrats on the confirmed ladies!

Tomor will mark 3 weeks since I flipped 12/12. I have fed every other day with less than half strength nutes, and fed grow juice through the first 2 weeks of 12/12 before now switching to the bloom nutes. It seemed like the buds have really started forming since I switched and everythings been going great. I put FA 1 under the A51-60 and the FA 2 under the SolarFlare. So far FA1 is still out performing FA2, however I can tell that the SolarFlare does everything it claims, but if you can get those Area 51 lamps at a good price, do not hesitate and BUY BUY BUY!! I can honestly only imagine what their new model is going to be like, with the Cree's. I'm getting ready to put the "little ladies" in the bloom room and put the 8 spot Area 51 in as well so I know I am going to be getting some absolute boss type lighting going on in there. It will be the 200w SolarFlare + A51-60 + the 8 spot A52 from yr or 2 ago, so I thnk that will be alright in the 3x3. I really wish I could figure out how to put some space in my journal entries but since I got my new laptop it doesn't let me enter down. I will be adding pictures tomor!

For the sake of readability(I could care less about a post count) I am posting my question on it's own here. I currently have the "little ladies" in aprx 1 or 1.5 gal square "hempy" planters. Growth has been great and I'm thinking of flipping within next week or so. I was thinking about leaving 1 of the little ladies in the square planters instead of the 3 gal circle buckets as an experiment to see the difference in yield between the two. I wish I could find larger square planters but I haven't been successful in my search yet. My question is, is it a waste of time to even try this experiment? From what I've researched, 3 gal is about the minimum size most grow with. I'm trying to get at least 1.5oz/plant so I don't want to waste a bean for a half zip yield ya dig? Any input?

I'm doing my entire current grow in square pots. I'm 5 weeks into flower. The plants definitely aren't as tall as when I used my bigger pots( don't remember the size) but I can fit more in there. It's more of a sog grow. Experiments are made to seek out solutions to your questions so I'd give it a try. Have you tried cloning yet? If you haven't I think you should.

I haven't cloned yet. I want to, and have every intention to, but had decided I was going to just get to my first harvest before I worried about cloning. I like the idea of cloning some of the freebies that I only have 1 or 2 of and I should practice beforehand so thanks to your words, I will pick up the needed materials asap. Speaking of materials, I already have rockwool cubes so what else would you suggest I grab?

I was in such a rush this morning I barely was able to get to feed FA1&2 before lights out so I was unable to get pics of them but bud sites are forming and looking good. I'm definitely going to get the bigger Area51 up tomorrow in the bloom room and will probably put FA3, which is my bushiest/tallest little lady, in without transplanting to the 3 gal. But the more I'm thinking about it the less I'm liking the idea cuz I really would hate to waste my best plant and only end up with like a half zip or something ya dig? Either way they're going to have to flip sooner than later and I would like to see how much yield I would be losing leaving them in the smaller square planter, so I may just bit the bullet. Update on the autos: SC and Candy Cheese are up and at 'em and Auto Jack, or Jacki, who I put in ground yesterday, is already trying to poke up. The Auto Somango finally germed to a little less than half inch tail so I threw her in today as well.

Hey everybody here are the pictures. Everything's been going good. I brought in the big Area 51 so the 3x3 bloom room is for real about as bright as its getting. Only about half of the pictures turned out but here are the better ones. I brought in FA3 to the bloom room and the Auto somango is just about to push up. Here they go. Yaaa buddy! This is getting better by the minute. I'm repositioning plants and everything is almost going better than I could have planned. I'm thinking I shouldn't try to put anymore than 3 ladies in the 3x3 so I'm thinking I will try to keep the other little ladies as long as I can in the veg tent then just seeing how much I can get out of just maximizing the two as opposed to more smaller plants like I had been thinking about. I'm just going to try to coast to the finish line from here.

It is a truly spiritual experience I have w my ladies every morning. Yesterday I was watching the bigger ladies in the bloom room until the lights went off. I can't wait to help out a couple family members who are sick, it will feel good to help out with some of the best ya dig? I've got the little ladies trained looking like bushes, Ill try to get some pics up tomor. Hope everyone has a blessed day!

Everything's still going great in the bloom room! FA1 is still jumping up under the SolarFlare, while FA2 is pretty much just bushing out. Don't get me wrong FA1 is plenty bushy and in fact I am able to position everything so that FA1 has big buds growing under each of the 3 lights in there. I've had to raise the big Area51 and the SolarFlare the past couple days, but I suspect it's about as high as they're going. I promise pictures tomorrow and I hope yall have a safe beginning of the weekend!

What up world? Today I decided to rearrange the bloom room and bring in the WWxCheese. Currently I am leaving it in the square planter as well to kind of restrict growth seeing how FA1 is actually still trying to touch the damn SolarFlare. I've actually noticed just the tiniest bit of bleaching on the top, but I set the lamp 14-16" away and that's quick to become 10. But everything is good and depending on how the little ladies do in the square pots I might bring down the last Fallen Angel so I can set the Veg Tent at 20/4 for the 4 Autos I've got going. Anyways, everybody have a blessed weekend!
