Hey guys just wanted to check in see what you guys think about my plants so far. I have 2 seeds from some random bud planted in 2.5 gallon pots with FF Ocean forest soil. According to my gf today they are about 30 days old. The first 27 days they have been growing under cfl lights( 6 26w 6500 k and 2 23w 2700k ~ 200 watts). I just got the 200w CLW solarflare full spectrum 3 days ago so they have been under that at ~ 12inches from canopy. I really just wanted to know if you guys think if they look healthy and how should I approach maximizing yield. I was thinking LST but just looking for recommendations. Also they are growing in 20x36x60" mylar tent inside of a closet with temps at approximately ~75 lights on 24/0. I am not using any fertilizer but I am looking to stay organic so can you recommend something good for that also. I have some horse manure compost but not sure if I should make a tea with that or add other things.

I would wait till you see some overall lighter green growth before adding anything. Your in FFOF and it usually has enough nutes for "around" a month and a half so look for the signs soon. Yeah any manure/Guano/frass will work in supplying the necessary macro and micro nutrients for your girls

They'll prob start to perk up a bit more now that they are under better light. I would wait till they stretch a bit and then start LSTing since it doesn't look like they have been trained at all yet.

Thanks Guys here is an update. I did some super cropping on both plants and I think it turned out pretty well for both I see a lot of new under growth. I did have a little mishap with the compost tea kinda went overboard with it and had some nute burn. I did a slight flush and things are looking a lot better. If anyone is wondering for my compost tea I used composted horse manure, ground premium dry dog food, plain ground oats, 1 tablespoon of 10-1-1 bat guano, about 1/4 cup of earth worth castings with added molasses in about 2 gallons of water. I wrapped it all up in a plain cloth and used a aquarium pump for oxygen. Let it brew for about 24 to 36 hours. Then diluted it with more water and applied to my plants. I think I went overboard with how much I fed it. Thinking about flipping in about 5 days(45 Days of Veg total then) what do you think?

The one on the right with the single cola still seems a bit droopy/rolled leaves... How far away is your light atm?

I would probs veg a little longer to take advantage of that 200W personally.

Lookn good. Honestly I would veg a lot longer. I can tell you for sure you will have no problems with penetration with those 5watters. Let it get a little vertical growth before you pull the trigger.

I don't think I am overwatering but I do think I went overboard on the compost tea fertilizer I used on them. Here are some updated pics. Got some nute burn on the bushier one but I did a flush a few days ago.

How close is your light?

I think you could maybe have it too close or have a Mg def (possibly caused by too much calcium).

With compost tea, you should never overdose, unless you have add something that is not totally composted.
Follow the SoilFoodWeb recommendations for compost production.

My light right now is at approximately 18inches away from the top of the taller plant. As far as the compost tea I'm pretty sure the manure was well composted because when I got it from the farm I dug into the pile and pulled out compost that was giving off steam and it had a very earthy odor. I just think I poured way too much of it on it the plant or let it brew for too long maybe next time ill just do about 24 hours. Not sure if it is a mg deficiency but I will look on the forums for info on that. Thanks so far guys

In most cases steaming compost means it is not finished.
If it were not finished it could still be too hot, but since you used it as a tea it really should not have damaged your plants.
If you have over watered I would look at your roots, if you can.
I am a nube, but have worked with compost and compost teas for many yrs while in the golf biz.
Have never damaged plant with properly made CT.

Yeah well I have no idea if it was completely finished but I do know it looks really dark brown and has an earthy spell. I'm probably going to brew up another batch this weekend and give them a feeding.

Alright so heres an update I did a big trim on the taller plant and slight trim on the bushier one to remove some of the fan leaves I felt were in the way/taking up too much plant energy. I also switched to 12/12 this past sunday(4/7) at 7pm. So far everything has been great and the plants have responded really well to the change with new growth daily. Overall I'm really liking this 200w CLW led its performing pretty well. Here are some pics below. let me know what think.
