Afaik the Top Fuel record for the quarter-mile is appx 4.44 seconds.
I've read that they've gone to 1000-ft races bow, ostensibly for safety. Tell me more about sub-3-second dragsters not using reaction engines (like rockets).

i too find myself falling all over the british sense of humor.. fits my dry wit well if i do say so myself... and god, how can you not lol when they leave each other every time one of their creations goes wrong... :D

It still bugs me on the Netflix version of the Top Gear UK Vietnam episode they switched out born in the USA for the star spangled banner for the back up moped. I need to catch up on the new season.

I have a "I am the Stig" shirt and people are always asking me wtf it means. Hahaha

Been watching it for years. The US version blows. All the episodes are pretty much repeats of BBC episodes.

i've seen a few good episodes of the new season.. those are some of my favorite episodes as well that guy, the ones where they go to another country that is. vietnam was great, i lol'ed when they took the driving class for mopeds in Vietnamese or the one where they went to india was another classic, as was the one where they went to the middle east...
