i try to remain anonymous and not give out too much information about myself or my life. i wouldn't look good in an orange jumpsuit. but i wonder if other members care about their anonymity.

If you want to remain anonymous, the obvious way to do that would be to avoid giving away anything specific or identifying about yourself. The good thing about the internet is that it's totally voluntary. There's nobody on one end forcing anyone to do anything on the other.

If you feel like a question would give away too much personal information, don't answer it. I ask people questions because I'm genuinely curious about their answers and the anonymity of the internet provides a way to get past social taboos that could otherwise alter true opinions.

Seriously, I'm all for caution, but this is paranoia. The OP started a thread that encouraged people to post pics of their bodies; that can include exif data, people's faces, and identifiable landmarks; yet I don't see people starting threads about him. Or there's that whole "post a picture of yourself" thread: I don't see people constantly harping on that as a source of info for busts. If you're going to be one of those guys who implies "cop", then you should at least be consistent.
