Yep I got a G.e.d. does it show. can someone give me the formula to convert n-p-k to ppms thanks. Why cant we just have N-P-K meters? Ya'all ever been to Europe the math is much easier. Maybe that's why the Euros are so good at growing cus their formulas are easier. Fucking metric system why we got to be so ass backwords.

npk and ppm aren't really the same thing m8..
npk is a ratio, the ratio of each of the three elements that are in the bottle, and ppm stands for parts per million, and tells you how much nutrient is in a solution, usually water..
ppm is a total reading of all salts, nutrients, in a solution, and in no way does it tell you at what ratio each is present..

Nitrogen phosphorous potassium yes I get it I do not get the ratios. Parts per million yes I get it. I got my ppm down to zero by snow instead of my. well water ( didn't know what in my well water yet Yes I water at 75 degrees). I have never used nutrients, I understand the percentage thing like 3-1-1 or whatever I just don't want to overnute my plants like everyone else in Michigan seems to do. I dunno guess there too lazy to figure it out in this state. But 90% of the shit I seen grown in Michigan sucks and I think its due to overnuting. the sun is fine in Michigan just need help figuring out the ratios so I have bomb shit and not crappy overnuted might infested Michigan shit. I want to be better than these growers out here. Most of them are indoor I am one of the lucky few that can do outdoor, our law says it has to be covered locked and secure, mainly because the state of Michigan want to make bank on the electric bill. But this poses two problems. 1) forces people to grow indoors inviting pests and heat 2) makes growers give crappy bud to patients. so Yes please help me nute my marijuana correctly. I want a California yield right here in southwest Michigan.

nitrogen/phosphorus/potassium

the ppm shows parts per million in the solution, the npk is just a percentage of each element in said solution...you cant put a value on the npk like that

your obviously a newb,so anything you think....dont...do the research first...start at about 400 ppm and work your way up..if you over nute flush with 3 times the container value....npk has more to do with stages of growth. different npk values for different stages of growth

so you just assume its overnuted...but your a newb so where do you get this from?maybe not flushed properly, but to get good growth and flowers you have to give them as much as they need without going over...thats why growers run a strain lots to perfect the growth and max the yield over time with experience...

NPK = The numbers on the fertilizer bag like 10-10-10 tells you the percentage of the three major nutrients, nitrogen (N), phosphate (P), and potash (K), in the fertlizer your using.

That is the sequence of the nutrients and the corresponding number on the bag, and will always be in that order, N, P, K.

PPM is based on how much of your fertilizer you add to the water.....the more fert added the higher the ppm

cus the fucker that gave them to me does the same shit with his food. He overnuted and sunburnt them. what a crying shame. Ive been on many a farm in California just never grew myself. Now I got my own farm and don't want to grow the crappy mite infested shit Michigan has because 90% of the people in this state have to grow indoors. Ours cant be all out in the open like California woot spy rock road. Anyway I think I got it im using snow ( o ppm yay Michigan) to water obviously at room temp. will be using a 32 gallon bucket adding my nutes to the bucket stirring it up or using a bubbler to get an accurate ppm reading this is correct right? I am truly blessed to be able to do it outside in a few months legally in this state Michigan has weird rules look it up anyway do I got the method down now? My ladies runoff is at 220 ppm I am trying to get it down to zero then let them grow for two weeks straight h20 then add nutes. Cus these ladies were pretty fucked up when I got em mites nute burn and sunburn not the getting all green again.

Ive never gotten bad weed from ANY of my sources here in MICHIGAN. You make michiganders look retarted. Obviously your supplier(s) have crap weed. And you need to find a new supplier. Btw, NEVER EVER estimate or guess what your yield will be, because you will never get it right. Try a small grow first to gain experience. To the PPM question. Read the back of the bottle and mix it to the correct mixture. Thats all you need to do. PPM isnt that important in my opinion. Get an electronic meter for it if you need one. Pm me if you need an electronic ppm meter for under 35 bucks. Same for a PH meter and temp meter. Sorry man. But do some more reading to better understand things. Many folks on here dont like to help those who cant even help themselves. What part of mich exactly. Im near a little town known as Eaton Rapids, Mi.

Why did you take the plants in the first place? Hope you didn't pay for them.

if you want a 400 ppm put a little nutes in water stir not shaking test water with ppm meter if too low add a little more nutes repeat process intill you get the number ppms you want the number doesnot have to be perfect but close then after your happy with the ppm number then ph the water, phng the water is the last thing you do to your water, add every thing you want to your water first to get to your ppm number then ph it

You need to stop talking shit about mi growers and there's no way you have even seen 90% of what's out there you have no idea what your talking about

I haven't even seen good pot at the Michigan dispensarys. People don know how to grow weed in this state. If you think those are tricomes on your bud your wrong, chances are they are mites not tricomes. I think the main problem Michiganers have with f=growing weed is their water source. I don't think people pay much attention to it in Michigan. I e chlorine and fluoride. Sorry fellow Michigandude but I really haven't seen any weed that is up to California standards in Michigan. Since I have been using rainwater I have seen a hell of a dofference and think I nipped most problems in the butt. Who knows what the state has put in my well water and I am certainly not going to get it tested. Michigan weed sucks. I don't like smoking mites.
