Just another law abiding citizen exercising his 2nd Amendment right....



A Minnesota man has been arrested after allegedly pointing an AK-47 rifle at his daughter during an argument that stemmed from her getting two B's -- instead of straight A's, on her report card.

According to reports Bartashevitch recently purchased the gun because he was afraid that President Obama's push for gun control legislation would lead to a ban on those kinds of weapons.

I think the issue is any nut job parent can get an AK.

On another note, that is exactly how I picture Desert Dude to look.

How many people can you kill in 20 seconds with your hands or a knife. That's such a fucking weak cop out argument.

I don't understand why people are for nut jobs becoming heavily armed.

We need to outlaw weapons in the hands of private citizens! How dare private individuals have access to weapons. Only trustworthy government officials such as Josef Stalin, and Pol Pot should have weapons.

When you don't agree with it, ya it's a weak argument. No one's for arming nut jobs,(unless it's people in government I guess) but if a nut job kills people with guns, doesn't mean everyone loses their guns.

This is not the fucking issue at all. The issue is that someone who is entirely irrational has easy access to a weapon that can annihilate crowds of people in seconds. I'm not advocating for your guns to be taken away (assuming you don't point them at your kids). I'm am totally for, however, making sure a fucking pyscho doesn't have an ar15, or any other weapon that could do some serious damage.

Lets use the drunk driving argument that everyone seems to love so much. Driving drunk is dangerous, I don't do it though, so there shouldn't be any laws against it. Is driving drunk any more dangerous than a shitty driver in the rain? I don't think so, so laws against drunk driving are dumb. QED.

Do you not see how idiotic that logical progression is?

no one was killed.. moot point really...

and i can get into my car and drive it into a bus and kill probably all 30 people on board.. shall we outlaw cars? how many people did hitler kill in ovens, shall we outlaw amana now?

Not really a moot point when you retort a hypothetical with a hypothetical.

As far as your bus issue. No we shouldn't outlaw cars. As I said in my previous post I'm not advocating outlawing guns. What I am saying is that a person who is willing to point an Ak at their daughter shouldn't have guns. Just as a person who wants to crash a car into a bus shouldn't get their license, and why we have laws against people crashing into busses. Namely reckless driving and man slaughter. Should we abolish those laws?

but we still await your final decree on how successful one must become before we gain the right to defend ourselves.

since you have already established that "McDonald's Fry Makers" are ineligible for that privilege, we still need a lower limit on the self defense privilege.

a dollar ammount in income or investment, a minimum net worth, or perhaps a mandatory minimum education level will do.

after all, we need to know if we qualify, otherwise some who do qualify for self defense will not avail themselves of the privilege, or even worse, some who do NOT qualify might defend their otherwise useless lives in violation of your edict.
