I've had Kobe - it is very tasty and I like it much better than your run of the mill restaurant fare.
Bison ? I killed one 2 months ago & we eat it regularly along with the moose I got.
All great meat, but I prefer the wild stuff - it tastes better to me and I know it ain't chock full of antibiotics, hormones and crap.

You didnt seriously just tell me that you got the bison permit hunt that I have been applying for for 20 years now did you? OHHHH, YOUU!!!!!!! :cuss: Lucky guy man. Hard hunt to get up here.

100% success rate & no draw.
A dude I know has a couple of hundred head & sells them on the hoof (wild) for less than I could travel to Delta & get one for.
They are not fenced in & are not tame - but damn, are they good eating.
Lemme know.

GreatwhiteNorth, you have an alaskan source for Bison? if you don't mind, could i please know who and where? my wife eats paleo and she'd love a good source.

baked potatoe with vegan "sour cream" & "cheese" with chives, grilled eggplant, zucchini and mushrooms with a balsamic reduction sauce, and a salad ! ^_^

Baked potato should be nothing more than beans and cheese :p sounds like a damned good eat though.

silly englishman, baked potato should have chives sour cream and cheese ;) ... eh i love my plants, i commit mass fruit and veggie genocide.

Tonight I made Meatloaf... MY wife hated this... and I found out why about 10 years ago when her mother made me it for a birthday... ever eat wet sponge?? well that would have tasted better...(she likes the way I make it.. less spongy)

Metloaf Mac-n-cheese.. mashed taters... veggies...
