What is the point in Auto Flowering Plants ?

indoors i dont see the point as you can manipulate the light period to make the grow as long or short as you want.outdoors though you can plant them in a feild somewhere and they will finish long before summers over.you could even have 2 crops from april -august .hide that shit in amoungst corn or something and the cops will never find it

Yeah i am very impressed with this auto..in the past fast growers have had THC levels comprimised..but not the blue mammoth. I tried a bit and even using the quick dry method i got really really stoned. The buds are spitting out crystals everyday..now up to 47 and there seems to be new bud formations..so i dont know when to harvest..as i was going to do this week. Barneys says 70 days max.

Also i have used nothing but canna line and medium..i am impressed with canna actually.

I love autos..they suit me fine as i am not some big commercial grower. I can grow 5 plants every 2 months without hassles or worrying about light periods and weather temps.

If you have only one room. You can run Autos while revegging your photo you are going to keep as a mother. By the time the autos are finishing up. You got clones from the mother you want to keep ready to go. When time , timing and space are an issue. Autos fill the gap very nicely

I've always grew out (auto) Blue Mystics & now trying (auto) Northern Lights. I've had really good luck with the "Blue Mystics". I love the taste & look of it. Now the Northern Lights, I've grew the regular version, but never the auto, so I thought I would see what the auto was all about,lol.. I herd it was as good as the regular, just dident have as much thc.. that's what the seedbank I purchased them at said anyways. Its turning out nice though! Only a month of vegging & she is almost 2ft tall & growing everyday! Starting to "see" hairs now also.. yaaaayy

everything else mentioned can pretty much be achieved with normal plants,

I sure hope they do! There's SO many things that "we" as the "people" could gain from it! There really not looking at the "big" picture idt!! Because I mean, loook at all the things/materials & oils/ropes/soaps/ etc' that can be made from hemp!! I seen in the newspaper the other day that the state that I live in where going to have a meeting to discuss the possiablity about "farmers" growing hemp for those purposes!! I really don't get it why the "some" people see this plant as the "devil"!! I honestly believe its God sent! And it plainly states in the very 1st book of the bible that God has given us all seed baring plants to have authority/control over! If it where only the 60's & 70's again,lol! those where the good ol' days!! later guys! Dank.

One of the biggest obstacles in legalization believe it or not is people cash cropping. They dont want it legal.

I think the fastest way to legalization is
"Legal to possess and grow
Illegal to sell"

That way you allay peoples fears about "drug dealers" and you keep the goverment out of it

I asked myself the same question op when i got an auto jack and an auto a+b as freebies. I have had mine under a 24 hour t-5 set-up in my veg closet just to see what they do.. here's what i got as of almost 4 weeks from seed.

Strains like fastbud #2 are seed - harvest = 7 weeks. Says it all.

That is what the breeder tells you but I will tell you the truth. I have yet to see ANY strain of MJ that is done (done means done which many on here have no actual concept of) in 10 weeks let alone 7.

maybe try a different strain? I tried a good few different auto strains and after i ran the wos afghan kush ryder, i ran it 4 or 5 times with shit hot smoke everytime... If i plant more say 1-2 weeks before i the chop, i'll harvest 2 loads in 14 - 16 weeks. Try that with photo-period plants.

I started this thread and i dont answer to you.
I am a fairly experienced grower who has not used autos before,
the thread was any easy way to learn as i am very busy.
the ppl who have replied have typed things that are of interest to me,
the point of a forum it to gather opinion,
which i have achieved,
if you dont approve that's cool, but i dont need to hear it,
you use the word troll and make a statement like that.
