Check out my Aeroponic setup

I'll start off with my propagation setup. I use a single container setup with sprayers set to 1 min on and 5 min off. I don't spray the cuttings or anything. They don't even wilt or turn yellow!

I have a 100% success rate and have never lost a cutting yet. My Tutti Fruiti shows roots in 4 days. The AK-47 and Bonsai show roots in 6 days. The Blueberry and Snowbud show roots in 7-10 days. There are 23 cuttings at all times. The best 15 get transfered to the veg chamber.

After the cuttings root and start to grow they go to my Veg setup. I use a dual container setup that I bought on FleaBay. The roots grow in air. I have a timer set to spray the roots 1 min every 5 minutes. I use a 250W MH set to 24hr. and then drop down to 18-6 the last week.

The plants veg for 3 weeks. I start at 1000PPM and go to 2000PPM by the third week. I only use 100% organic nutrients. I keep my PH at around 6-6.5. These photos show the plants at 2 weeks out of the clone chamber.

I take the best 14 plants from the veg system and leave the smallest plant behind to grow larger. I also take cuttings off of the veg plants before they go into flower and put the cuttings in the clone chamber.

I use an Astrogrow system and a couple of dual container systems. Both systems are TRUE aeroponics in that the roots grow completely in air. The system on the left holds 28 plants. The container system on the right holds 14 plants(7 in each container). The timer is set to 1 minute on and 5 minutes off. I'm running 2900PPM by the second week of flower!

I run 2-1000 watt lights. The back one is an MH and the front one is an HPS. The plants on the left are at 5 weeks and the ones in the containers are at 3 weeks.

Right now I'm growing the following strains:
1) AK-47 - This thing is a freak of nature, it almost grows too fast!
2) Medusa - F/2 cross. nice taste but takes too long to finish
3) Bonsai - My own strain. The results of 14 years of breeding!
4) Snowbud (Akorn) - Slow but worth it! Super frosty.
5) Tutti Fruiti - The name says it all!
6) Blueberry - The real deal. A Northwest legend. Kind of slow but tasty.

Every three weeks I harvest 14 plants for medical use only!

It's one big party waitin' to happin'!!!

It looks like you are finishing the plants off in 4" drainpipe. So the bulk of the plant growth is from a variation of NFT. Is that right ?
If I read you right the big advantage of true aeroponics is in propagation.

Hey StinkBud.

I built a double bucket design like the one you have.

Here is a pix of it.

I put the spray jets in the top.

Let's see some root porn inside your top tub.
like this.

After you get roots this big
you get tops like this.

96 grams from these two plants, after surviving spider mites.

Your bud shots show a job very well done :hump:

This is actually a 3 week system. 14 plants come from veg to fill two tubes or one set of containers. So the schedule goes like this. 3 weeks propagation, 3 weeks veg, 9 weeks flower. The longer flowering time allows me to run different strains with plenty of time to finish them. I can also clip the top buds first and leave the smaller buds to finish off.

Both earl and stink nice setups, I envy you both. Earl: the roots look like they busted the net pot open lol I can't really tell what's going on in that pic besides a massive root ball.

How long do you veg your plants?

The word mites sends shivers up my spine! Once you're into bud your F**ked. I've had to completely shut down for a month to get rid of them. Lost some good strains too. My last nightmare was with gnats believe it our not. I haven't had any pest since I went to hydro...

I usually veg around 6 weeks.

It depends on the strain.

What I like to do
is get to the 13th node,
before inducing flower,
but sometimes you need to start at 11
because they grow to tall.

I never top a plant, only train it.

The reason the plants are falling through the top,
is they were started in another smaller tub,
and when I transferred them to this new tub,
they had pretty big roots,
that I had to keep from getting broken.

So did a butcher job on the lid,
to get them started in the new tub.

Once the roots filled the bottom of the new tub,
they didn't really need the top anymore,
and would support themselves.
