Rules are rules, unless everyone doesn't mind me joining in. ( I only run around 28 watts 
) I have no problem just being an observer. I do have some inspiration for you though. This is a 12/12 from seed that I found in a gnarly bag of outdoor.
I had a friend take care of it while I was gone. 86 days from seed grown with CFL's (Don't hate the LEDS were vegging others) it's been hanging since I got back roughly 2 days. Can't wait to see the dry, haha.

yeah Id be willing to sponsor the seeds for that it levels the playing field 5 un femmed auto beans for every entry all germinated on the same day as long as everyone pays for their own postage

things seem ok Im not sure if my passive hydro is going to work so I have a back up in co-co /perlite
so thats 2 X annie
and 3 x amy
4 of which are in the systems and 1 in a straight cup
things have bee a bit chaotic tonight I've been playing musical chairs with all my plants from tent to tent trying to make everything fit
neeed another tent best get on to the accountant to see if I can have some pocket money
aww bless have a look they are so teeny weeny all snug and safe bless lol had to use a bit of zoom on the camera phhew close thing look close they are those tiny little smudges

Yeah while thats not a bad idea, i also think the party cup competition brings out the ingenuity in people. If you make everybody compromise by using the same seeds, party cup, soil etc it kind of wrecks the ideas people have...and not everybody will be able to express them.
People can experiment more with a party cup and if the grow goes sour....its no big deal.
Plus im not paying postage...

Funny how we can follow rules, but we're pretty shitty about laws around here
. And I don't think I'm going out on a limb here saying people are more than OK with you jumping in late.

Ok! Well, unless someone comes out and demands my exit. I've germed my seeds and primed my box! Had a wispy old sativa in it that is now going to go into my belleh in the form of butter.

Those plants are living and you are all being cruel to them - how would you like your shoes and pants being 20 sizes too small?
Why can we not all do a grow with Campos' sponsorship offer, but in something like a 2litre coke or water bottle? Still cruel but at least the results might be something worth looking at

The skill is in being able to control your plants environment and get the best out of what could be the worst situation.
A party cup means that the nutrients you give them have to be spot on, deficiencies need to be identified as fast and as accurately as possible.
It's a lot of fun and an amazing learning experience.

So, I put a couple Mama Thai in the dirt on Friday, but it didn't work... Neither of them have cracked. Can I go back to my paper towel method and try again this evening or did I miss z deadline?
I'm switching my room to 12/12 on Friday. I figure that'd be enough time for the lil' girl to get going, but if she pops before that, I can put her in a ghetto-rigged laundry basket with a 90w UFO till' Friday.
