Hey everyone, this is my first grow and I decided on blue mystic autoflower. I am on a 20-4 lighting schedule and am now 24 days in. My question is why is it so short and bushy??? There are leaves EVERYWHERE! I've never seen any pictures of plants this small and bushy before. She exploded and is vegging like crazy. Does Anyone know why this would happen? Any tips or comments? This is my first grow so please please comment!!!!

-Fox Farm Ocean Forrest soil
-1 five gallon pot
-257 cfl watts, (3 55 watt 2700K and 4 23 watt 5000K)
-fox farm grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom
-Mylar reflective lining

Its day 28 and she's getting pretty big! Had some heat issues which led to a few of the leaves burning :/ however that is now taken care of and she has started to flower!!

Post a link to your grow journal on this thread once you get em and I'll make sure to tag a long and see how it goes :)

Fed the fox farm tiger bloom nutes for the first time and she is loving it! I've counted more than 13 budding sites now. I had to remove 2 fan leaves to make room for them, and she smells wonderful!
Nirvana says it maintains a neutral smell while growing, my entire appartment reeks! I had to buy a few of those citrus magic cat litter odor removers. They work wonderfully. My whole place smells like oranges now. They are only 4 dollars at Walmart and they cover the smell completely! I would highly recommend them to anyone with stealth in mind.

Very sweet but musty, not too much skunk but its there. Imagine mixing skunk with roses and blueberry, it's similar to that

Glad i came across this. One of the reasons I chose this to grow was because of the neutral smell. Guess that's out the door. Now i know what type of odor remover to get haha.

------ UPDATE ------
day 35

It's day 35, still having some heat issues, keeps getting around 95 :/ I've been doing my best but I can't cool it anymore unless the outside temp drops. As long as it stays around 65 or lower I can keep the temp at 75. But lately it's been getting too hot. She's lookin good, fed fox farm big bloom nutes. I heard organic tastes best so I'm limiting the tiger bloom. Here's a few pics main cola and the light set up. Tell me what ya think!

Ive noticed that a few of the under leaves have been dying and falling off, is this nute burn? Temps to high? Or is it just because they don't get as much light? Please comment, I'm a little worried

Just a guess bro, but I'd say lack of light and nutes are being used to feed flowers and the massive amount of foilage throughout! Someone with real knowledge will chime in, I'm sure. Looks good!!!
