Thanks, I got done doing a search and couldn't find any lineage on it. The crappy dirt grow I did on it gives me hope that if done right will come out nice. Nice enough to run it in my bucket again. <-- I failed and had to abandon the first two trys due to my newb mistakes and slime.

DHN has Platinum GSC, SCM has Thin Mint GSC, and Medicinal Organic has both.

Your SCM thin mint will catch on fast once they get going and they start to elongate. The Platinum will continue as a slow grower that&#8217;s finicky. Don&#8217;t use too much nutes or overwater if you&#8217;re in a soil grow. The good thing about the platinum is the finished nugs are compact and very heavy although a poor yielder it's the best medicine of the cookie cuts.

Our discussion was about Medicinal Organic's GSC phenos from seed.

We didn’t create the Thin Mint or Platinum GSC so there was no need to test them other than to verify the lineage. This was done by research and collaboration with other clone vendors. When you are an experienced grower, breeder and botanist such as yourself these things are easier to figure out with proper research and commitment.

Nice call on identifying the Nuwave cut!

I was asking about the cuts that are at HHCOAK. They were labled "MO's GSC". What do the finished flowers from those cuttings look like? (Not the "Platinum from seed".)
Verified lineage by what, word to mouth? Please don't think i'm attacking you, MO. :clap:
 
My thin mint pheno looks waay different than Mo's thin mint and the other club cutts.

Mine looks alot like sinsemilla. Whats the deal on that? Is their thin mints S1s?

Oh my bad, we verified by growing and comparing leaf and branch structure, growth patterns and leaf shapes. We saw results from other growers who acquired the cuts before us from the same sources which is Thin Mint from SpeedyWeedyRX in Napa and Platinum Cookies from Rosebud Wellness Center in S.F. We then smelled and taste tested these against dried verified GSC medicine from the Green Door because they were up on the strain before other dispensaries were.

But this is all moot to boot because we can attest by our greenhouse results that everything is true and correct. I will post more photos in the coming weeks as the flowers finish including dry medicine pics.

Just curious, you don't have to answer if you don't feel comfortable.... How large of a sample size of seeds do you guys use to select a pheno?

Well yours looks just like Medicinal Organics and SCM very legit Thin Mint. Keep in mind there are slight sight differences within the same phenos depending on who&#8217;s growing, the grow medium, light type and intensity, as well as the overall grow room environment.
 
Im not gunna lie MO, that sounds like a load of BS. But in a Nice way so it dosnt offend people. Have you verified your cutts or not? I have a thin mint pheno and im not momming it out selling it for 30$ each, Cuz i havnt verfied myself, Yes the original has been released and their are resources you.can "compare" and ppl.you can "trust" but can you really?

Which brings me back to my first post? Why is my thin mints diff compared to yours Mo? And even to sin89?
 
Idk MO, it sure does look differnt then yours and scm? They have slight comparsion, but not exactly the same pheno to me.

Usually I like to start with two dozen beans. With these GSC seeds not knowing if it was legit or not at the time of purchase I went with 10 beans. I paid $10.00 each for a total of $100.

If you want to know why our thin mint looks different then yours you would have to grow them side by side in the same environment and grow medium.

I&#8217;m sharing information with the grow community. You can make what you want of it. If its helpful cool if not I don&#8217;t have the time or inclination to do a back and forth debate. Make what you will of the post. We have been vending these clones for several months along with many other strains and no one has ever complained.
