I genearlly like chinese rice dishes as in egg fried rice, special fried rice, shrimp fried rice, bbq pork and rice, but normally it's a no no, noodles rule. And not with curry! pah! Bad curry! Mmmm, there is a chinese takeaway opposite my front door. Hmm.

Maybe it's the places I've been to, but to me curry tastes like puke.

I don't like rice as a side dish, it's good with sushi tho. And I love rice pudding. I'm a pasta guy, spaghetti, ramen, give me noodles!

I think it's where you've been. Real curry isn't all thick, sweet and sloppy or a sauce just dumped on food. Currying is the process of cooking that meat (or fish or crab) adding the seasonings and burnt garlic to the hot oil, not dumping a jar of anglicized/americanized slop on it. There are many kinds of curry too... amchar, garam masala...

You're thinking of this slop right?

You want this stuff

A for noodles gimme any kind of noodles. Ramen, udon, souba, chow mein, vermicelli, yakisouba... but so much starch... I love udon anyway...

Good old bowl of ramen

It was at an Indian restaurant that I had curry. It really sucked. But the place has been in business for years, so someone must like it

I just went to the chinese supermarket and bought 40 packets of their awesome awesome instant noodles and a whole bunch of dried shrimp and anchovies to whack in the mix as well. I also bought banana chilli sauce :)

Thai stick is still around. I'm going to gets one for my Ma because can't handle skunk.

Please guys, try Trini curried meat not Indian takeaway slop. You wanna fry the (basmati)rice with a cardamom pod then boil it and a load of cumin, salt and chadon beni for nice rice.
