Most likely outdoors pests?

Hello all, I have a small outdoor grow. white widowxbig bud, pineapple express, and northernlightsx big bud and they are approx. in week 2 of flowering. I have them lst'ed. I am wondering with an outdoor grow, this being my first outdoor, what are common pests and problems I will probably face? I read a little on budworms and ....that scares me. But I am looking to actually harvest this. I have not bought or smoked cannabis in 3 months, which is fine. But I would like to have this small grow be successful. they are doing good. they are kinda small. Im guessing each plant will yeild about an oz of dried bud, if that. So, week 2 of flowering so I shouldnt have much longer to go. half the battle is over! But what precaustions can I take to make sure I harvest these beautiful babies?? Thanks -B

Well,In my neck of the woods it's Deer,Rabbits,Woodchucks,White flies and Japanese Beatles.Don't over do it with sprays or whatever.Just keep an eye on your plants and you may find you don't have much of a problem at all. Good Luck !! :-P

I would suggest wait and see first...... don't spray and subject your plant to stuff it may not have needed in the first place.
Hopefully you are just over worrying :)

what are BT ?
i love when people ask stuff i don't really know about...
one of the best ways for me to learn....
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bacillus_thuringiensis

"B. thuringiensis serves as an important reservoir of Cry toxins for production of biological insecticides and insect-resistant genetically modified crops. When insects ingest toxin crystals, the alkaline pH of their digestive tract denatures the insoluble crystals, making them soluble and thus amenable to being cut with proteases found in the insect gut, which liberate the cry toxin from the crystal.[SUP][6][/SUP] The Cry toxin is then inserted into the insect gut cell membrane, forming a pore. The pore results in cell lysis and eventual death of the insect."

If you don't have a problem, don't do anything. Many weed strains are highly insect resistant although your local climate can affect this growing variable considerably. In my experience, the use of organics greatly increases insect resistance. So cut back on the Miracle-Gro and use high phosphate bat or fossilized seabird guano instead.

Where are all the bud worm resistant strains?

I have never seen them in my area. The main local insect problem here are bugs that eat away at leaves. The blue widow test plant I have outdoors in full sun has minor damage on one leaf from these insects. Watching closely to see if further damage occurs.

Skunks dug up my plants a few months ago because of the bugs and grubs living in the organic soil I had planted them with and right now im noticing some aphids. After the skunks I put small fences up while managing to revive a fraction of my crops. And for the aphids I will try some neem oil?

Neem oil might work.....ladybugs or praying mantises would work too

No idea where you are, country wise, state, city or rural. All that Makes a diff..
Do you mean bugs or 4 legged critters?
I am in Ga., and I worry about deer, possum, coons, skunk, at night, but been lucky so far (knock knock), but squirrels (brown) and chipmunks during the day and been lucky so far also.
I have had a little munching on my leaves, but nothing to speak of, if you compare it to veggie growing, that's why I haven't even asked about it here, but the only visible thing I have actually found is a couple white flies and one jumbo size tan grasshopper looking thing, but didn't find any leaf damage from him.

That's why I am leery to try the Alaska bloom stuff, because they out and out warn that it attracts animals.
I won't use fish emulsion or anything with veg or animal smell to it.

That's why I grow in my back yard. The only 4 legged critter I gotta worry about is the one in my avatar picture.
