Friendly 12/12 from seed - Micro pot / Party cup - CFL competition / battle

No registrations required . Open to anyone busy flowering with that wants to have some fun and is using the same kind of lighting .

Rules - Anyone can join - Lights must be CFL`s or T-5`s ( We can vote on if too allow some Led in aswell )
No HPS or Metal Halide`s .
Any wattage system can enter from 11 - 4000 + .
Any strain may be chosen (eg . bagseed or top quality genetics ), but each competitor can only have a maximum of 3 plants in the competition.
Any type of nutes may be used .
Plants must be on a 12/12 flowering cycle from seed .
Any germination techniques may be used .
Any type of growing techniques may be used eg . lsting , prunning .
Seeds must be grown in a partycup or small pot .
Maximum pot or cup height and width are 10 cm by 10 cm or up to 12 - 15 cm depending on how big those party cups are . This is about 4- 6 inches if you are in the states .

Needed to enter - No reg is required to join just post a pic of the seeds you`ll be using and the height on your pot / cup . An example will be my entry below . A pic of your setup you can include it`s total wattage or lumens if you like . Info on what strain you are using , not realy required if using bagseed realy . Date germed .

I`ll update the log with all the participants names and strains they got in the competition everytime we get new entries .
We have to decide on criteria like best yield , best looking and fastest grown etc To all vote on maybe make another thread or poll for that later on .
For now let`s just get things going .
Any suggestions or anything I missed can be added in the beginning stages of this thread .

Grower entry - Kieshed
Strains -
Swazi ( seed on the right ) and my Gf`s entry the bigger skunk hybrid bagseed thing on the left . These two plants will battle it out for the pot to choose my first plant for the comp .
Pot height - 10 cm high or 4 inches high .
And lastly a pic of the entire setup and where the pot is chilling with the beans germing in them .
This all you need if you want to partake and can someone get me measurement on one of those party cups height .
Peace saw this idea in the L.E.D forum and thought I`d get one started here since 3 other growers sounded amped for it .

It`s cool anyone can watch the thread and add their comments . You can start some under the hps aslong as long as they on 12/12 it`ll just not be in the same class . I.E. we can have 2 classes . Cfl and T-5 class one L.E.D and HPS/MH class two . If everyone is cool with that .

I am running a 12/12 fs right now, no reason I can add a party cup to join in on the fun. I'll be coming in soon.

Okay cool haha all the entered plants need to be started for the comp or it`ll be way too confusing . So whoever wants too enter just post the relevant pictures and I`ll add you in . Start new plants and soon because I`ve got a headstart . Sab just add another party cup too your grow , take pics of seeds etc and your in . Yep Rep I`m going to check it out now didn`t even know if it was realy possible , I just transplanted a fairly large plant out of their so know they get quite big in em or a partycup .

Pot size: 1 Litre
Soil: Black Gold Organic Potting Soil
temporarily under 26 watt cfl. Is a short veg allowed? like 3 days of 24/7? or as soon as I see a sprout put it in with my flowering plants?
Pic in a bit. Germination method Wet Soil covered with plastic with holes poked in. Worked for me before so I figured why not. lol
couldn't take a pic of the seed not good enough quality lol.

Never tried 12-12. Currently experimenting with a couple of plants growing under a mix of T-12 & CFL will they do?

This looks pretty cool....kinda scared to go 12/12 from seed though :( This will be my 3rd grow and I just started germing them in their peat pods. I'm gonna do some research on 12/12 and see if I can throw one of my 3 into the competition......I thrive on competition :)

Man I was just reading a old one of these comps and it sounded fun as hell!! But stupid ass phone wont let me upload pics. Ill def sub to the comp and will do a 12/12 from seed with yall but wont update it here unless I can some how gets pics to work. Im goin to grow a g13 cheese freebie in a .3 gallon air pot ( 6" tall 4" around) under 600w hps. I keep my t5's in veg.

Idk what this talk is all about hps and $h@t. This is 12/12 from seed, CFL only, party cup or smaller, any nutes, any training. Rules are right there. Maybe I'm just drunk n stoned but it doesn't seem too hard to understand lol. (not hostile post) :-P

Update - Growers in comp so far
Class 1
Kieshed- 1 Swazi and 1 unknown Skunk hybrid .(Germing )
George xxx - 1 Pineapple Kush 1 Aurora Indica 1 Unknown bagseed .(Needs to add pic of setup still )
Reppinhigh22- 1 Ak47 bagseed (germing) .
Yeh Rep you can use any germination period too germ the things but after that they must go into your setup or be switched to 12/12 .
Autoflower and feminized seeds aloud aswell .

Class 2 is for those using hps /mh /led - oR anyone wth a mixture of cfl and hps/mh .

Any output fluro tubes is fine too you`ll be in class one with all the rest of the cfl/tube brethren . Thanks Alldaytoker we`ll add the hps / led class to show that with proximity to foliage we can still own just in another class so that people with low wattage systems can still take part and even win it :) .

The rest of the rules still stand and are plainly stated , all new entries should read the rules before entering and post all the required pics to be entered into the competition .

N.B - With your updates after they have germed please start counting the days from when the seed sprouted and keep record of how old your plant is . Peace all thanks for taking up the challenge :)

FOUND A SEED IN MY BAG OF AK47 I GOT! not 100% sure its ak but I got the bud from a trusted source,anyway the stuff is great that i'm smoking on lol.I Replaced my seed I had Germing immediately with the ak47! haha

Just hope we don`t get males since we using regular seeds . I`m hoping to my hands on some lowryder #2 seeds soon so will enter that when I get . Just turned on lights no germ after first day getting it`s 2nd 12 hours on lights no hopefully it`ll sprout tommorow morning xD .
Liking George`s strain selection that aurora indica is going to be awesome to watch .
