hmmm.....interesting....what happens to a mod when they do this?? I see it quite often. just sayinRollitup.org supports the principles of free speech. However we also recognize the importance for people to respect the rights of others. Our goal is to create a fun and relaxed environment for like minded people, which also means a place where we don't tolerate behavior that is harmful to others. Our rules are pretty basic and are designed to support the creation of an inviting environment to meet new people and participate in vibrant discussions about our passion for marijuana and that culture.
We do not tolerate attacks based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or political affiliation or any ganging up on members. No personal threats or harassment.
You can debate opinions but do not attack the people behind them.
By acting in a negative manner, you effect the whole site. Keep the spirits up so we can all have a good time.
Refer to that and no one will be banned. Banning is the last resort in my opinion, but then again I am the nice global mod.

There are good mods, bad mods, and meh mods.
Good mods are good mods.
Bad mods eventually get found out and are removed.
Meh mods take sides, enforce unevenly, and are pretty goddamn useless.
For example, this post is one week old. It is an unprovoked response in another thread.
The homophobic comments rate modding in the first place.
Then there is the fucking death wish. In context, the poster is wishing I had been shooting victim #13.
This post should be unacceptable under any circumstances, but there it sits. As it has been for a week.

Now, one might ask why I did not report it; complaining about it here instead.
First of all, I am not complaining (maybe I am complaining a little, but not about the post per se). I am simply using it as a example to make my point.
As to why I chose not to report it, or the other posts. Two reasons:
1) I wanted to see how long it would remain.
2) A particular meh mod on the forum takes issue when my posts are considered abusive, but is perfectly fine when posts like this are directed at me. So my reporting would not have made much of an impact.
There are my two cents.

The particualr mod of each section must remove the posts or Rollitup or a Global mod. If it isn't reported it probaly won't be found. You think Mods just go threw every single thread and read every word? Kind of unrealistic if you ask me. I find my job is mostly Spam control and a bit of deleting people harassing one another.
