Im looking for the best tasting and most potent berry strain. Please give some info on each if you have smoked or grown either of the two.

The difference between those two guys is that DJ would put the work into creating a strain, while subcool would just make an F1 poly-hybrid cross of existing strains and give it a catchy name. I'm not saying that one yields better results than the other, but one method certainly yields more uniform results. If you go with subby, I'd buy no less than 20 beans and get ready to pheno hunt.

Sounds like Dj short knows his shit. Most post ive read people are raving over plushberry. Everybody has different opinions. Hopefully with enough feedback i will be able to pick between the two.

I doubt it cause DJ SHorts BB is anything but stable. Yes, he put alot of work into that strain, but it's not stable, and you really have to pheno hunt to find that majik keeper. Plushberry has been having hermie issues according to the threads. I've personally haven't grown either, but I do have some plush vegging. True statement that Subcools stuff is F-1 s with no further real work put into it.

No experience with TGA yet. I do have a few beans of his stuff and have been nervous to run them. I do however have plenty of experience with DJ's blueberry. I find DJs to be pretty uniform with the exception of the one or two that just gets you higher or tastes better out of a run. There is always the one or two that look the same as the others but just are a touch better when popping seeds. Djs blueberry is kinda touchy on nutes and ph. Nothing a few runs won't shake out.

I myself would run DJs gear. I am going by personal experience with DJs and what I have researched on TGA. I also prefer to support true breeders vs chuckers. Flame suit on.

I have not tried either of them as neither of them has anything that interests me. However, with enough research (outside of this forum), one can easily figure out what they're getting themselves into when they buy a pack of either person's beans. To that, is plushberry even a berry strain? Sub claims it's a kush hybrid but neither of the parents are kush :???:.

Anyway, I can't be of much help in regards to my experience, I'm just saying that with due diligence, you'll make the right choice.

I don't think anyone that has NOT grown either strain should even reply. I myself have done the Blueberry and got two phenos out of one pack. A short plant and a tall plant. Both phenos had thick stems, and both had calyxes turn purple at week six. A nice 2 hour euphoric high. The male plants all looked like my tall pheno, and the ball sacks turned purple. I don't know about anyone else, but other than the height difference, every one looked the same. Pretty stable strain from my experience.

I think if you have experience with just one of the strains in question you should reply. If you wait for someone who has grown both you will most likely not get very many replies. Also some of us can read between the lines and sort out the bullshit when we research breeders and chuckers. I have grown chuckers gear at times. Usually get disappointed.

I gave full disclosure that I have not grown TGAs gear yet. The OP can take my opinion as he/she sees fit. The OP can research my posts to see if I jock on any certain breeder/chucker or not.

DJ lost his original blueberry.
It is not the same anymore and very finicky to grow.

The only thing that Blueberry and Plushberry have in common is the name. There is no "berry" in Plushberry it's just a catchy name.

i have grown the plush berry, it can be a much easier choice, both strains herm., blueberry is a moody needy high maintenance strain with low probability of landing the keeper pheno while plush has a whole bunch of keeper phenotypes but with a similar price point, i would go with plushberry since there are mutliple keepers, you can get a sick pink pheno or one of the huge green ones ive found. i prefer tga over dj short anyway.

in other terms

Blueberry is sonic- hasn't been good since the 90's lol.
Plushberry is mario- sure mario has a few bad games, but its still mario.

the only reason i/you would choose the blueberries out of a lineup is because i/you have a hard-on for blueberry or one of those blueberries in the lineup was the keeper. otherwise, the growth, yield, smell and appearence of the plushberry makes the blueberry look bad.

i like blueberry hyrbids because they put in the work to get the keeper blueberry and breed it for you!(jk) Dr. Atomic's "Blueberry jam" is (Blueberry x Nl), or blue mystic from nirvana, not nearly as good but much cheaper and much more available online is also a BB x Nl, but with a much weaker aroma and similar potency if you fine a potent plant.

i'd be more inclined to try DJ shorts; grape strain. i've had blueberry a couple times and wasn't impressed with the mild artificial blueberry sugar taste or the stony buzz where haze strains can be nice and fruity with much better highs. in that "ballpark" range, DNA's sweet haze is super nice with a bitchin' buzz and was better than about a dozen other fruity hazes i tried all around.

TGA might just make hybrids out of established strains, but at least going by his jack's cleaner 2, he picks really good parents. JC2's clearly my favorite strain and until i try a TGA strain that sucks, i believe all the hype about all of his gear. i don't care haw a strain is made as much as how good it's high is and THEN flavor is a nice bonus.

you might also want to consider growing just under halides to bring out fruity flavors. the year before last, i got hinst of grape flavor out of both joey weed C99 & LSD with the root stunted super cali haze freebie i tested tasting like straight up grape juice! when i grew SCH x C99 under a sodium this winter, the flavor was just fruity. unless it was a soil difference, i think blue light give better fruit flavors at least if you're chasing grapes.

i'm pretty sure i'd take the possibly trippy high of sweet haze over either strain you're looking into, but i don't do couchlock at all

I agree both choices are very similar. Your going to have some hermaphrodite issues with them. Your going to have a wide variety of phenotypes from both of them. I doubt either of them would be considered above average yield. I have never tried plushberry, but have been interested in it for a while. I would prefer a line that is more worked to get more of the BCS traits like the deep purple or f3s or f4s etc. Although I haven't grown any of DJ's BB per say, I have grown knockoffs essentially and many hybrids. I have found the blueberry taste is prominant in both hybrids and the original line, but hybrids offer a lot of extra goodness like yield or stability. The BB high is generally very narcotic. Sometimes I don't really like it at all and some plants have a great euphoric feeling and makes everything seem awesome, even if you are just sitting on the couch.

I have grown some DJ's Blueberry and Plushberry, but the 'most' incredibly sweet berry smell i have grown is 'Blue Chocolate' from Fusion seeds.
Which is 'Dabney Blueberry x Chocolate Rain'.
It's not necessarily my favourite smelling strain, but it was a very sweet berry smell.

Also, i grew some Jackberry from Sannies, which didn't smell as fruity while growing, but dried and cured it smelled like a Blueberry pie.
