Questions from a possible future grower.

Hello guys! I am reading about growing MJ for some time now and i decided to give it a try. The problem is that i still live with my parents and I wouldn't really want them to find out. Here are some questions and i hope you can help me(they will be kinda dumb but...):
1. Can i make a mini grow room from something like this(see big_44644.jpg attachment) and keep it easy to move ? 69cm x 47cm x 23cm (27.1x29.1x9 inches) also is it safe to move a grow room like this with plants inside?
2. Do i really have to switch to different types of light for the growing process? Can i just go with 1 bulb of warm, blue light and one with red light for the entire process?
3. If i grow 2 plants in a grow room like that what would be the aproximate yield?

That would have to be the tiniest plants ever LOL... But yes you can do that. Can do anything you want man just need the motivation to do it.

As i said i have to keep it easy to move so the chances to discover it will drop(or at least thats what i hope). What type of seeds do you reccomend me to get?how do you think the yeld will be?What about the growing period?

Your growing in travel bag? i wouldnt and if you do make sure mum and dad dont grab the wrong bag for their bangkok holiday.
Build a wooden box and go from there.

I tought about that that but it wouldn't be that practical. "mum and dad" will begin to wonder what is the pretty wooden box in my closet that never opens). If I could actually grow in that bag(after heavy modding like reinforcing the walls and cutting the interior to let just the outside of a travel bag) i would let it on at night and early in the morning i would hide it. I find it easier to hide and carry. Do you really thing is impossible to grow in something like that? If it is i don't have any other unsuspicious alternatives(i have pretty curious parrents).

i think that you would yield such a small amount, it wouldn't be worth your time... how tall could your end plant be? like just over a foot? so you could only veg until it was 6 inches tall, then flower... it would still be a baby. don't know how successful that would be. if someone has actually grown plants like this, i would love to read about it.

Dude that wouldnt be a good idea... It would probably catch on fire.....

Just get a PC Grow Box, and Scrog....

There like this....

And Auto's would be ur best bet.... from Seed to Harvest in 60 days.....

Also remember, in some non-med states if you grow in a crib they can seize that house... So take that into consideration, since it's your parents house...
Google your states laws and find out... But since its just one or two plants it should only be a misdemeanor.. But some states are real severe with their penalties on cultivation...

Agreed .... Give up the idea and use your ingenuity to get your own place. Its way more fun than having some spindly bud grown in a suitcase. Plus you get to have women over.

yea PC box .. or grow out side (gurilla growth) if possible .. thats your best bet Im sure .. or just use that energy and money and buy your smoke untill you have a place of your own ..


and realy .. if you want plants in the house and parents cant know .. the box in the closed will be your least problem ..
smell will reveal it once they are a few weeks old .. unless you have a carbon filter and then noise will get ther attension ..

all in all a bad idea if you ask me ... personaly if it was me .. I would safe the moeny and buy my smoke insted ..

and maybe use a littel energy and money to find a out side place wher I might be able to grow a auto or two .. if possible (dunno if your in centrum of NY or in the contry side ?) but a gurilla grow would be your best option if you ask me ..

find a forrest or sumthing like it wher ther is´t many Ppl. and find a spot that is hard to acces but still have good sun shine ..

plant a auto or two (maybe two diffrent spots so if one get found your might be able to keep ther other .. also autos as you need less time = less time for some one to find them and steal em .. and Bc. they are small and can be keepd low (LST them as well) so they cant be seen/spottet from miles away .. and so you can do the grow even at fall or spring or summer of course if temps is right of course ?

get a bag of good dirt and a littel shovel some solid dung/nutriens some water bottels and some auto seeds and go for a walk in the woods

check em a few times a week and/or after much rain/hot wether or if ther have been bad wether (storms aso)

search for more tips if you think a out side stelth grow would be a option for you ?

I'm not from US, i live in Romania and i don't have any forests nearby that could be used for guerilla growing. Today i got a pretty good idea, as i will soon move from an apparment to a house i will have more space and privacy so i tought about getting a fish tank(with fishes of course) and below the tank will be my grow room. This way i will have more space, no one will wonder why the fans noise and i will evacuate the air from the grow room thru a carbon filter and into the fish tank so i hope the water will take away some smell. What do you think about this? Is this a decent idea?

** what do you guys think about covering the walls of the grow room with mirrors?

great idea .. build a "box" to set the big fish tank on .. a new hobby tho the real hobby is under it inside the box .. good thinking

Im from Denmark ..

and my carbon filter is doing a great job .. when I got it my hole appartment was begining to smell (6 weeks old plants .. 2 of em) but half a hour later it was as good as gone ...and a few hours later I couldnt smell anything nomather what I did and wher I try to smell ..

even got all the smell of new wood glue/silicone and stuff I use for my grow room .. so no need to worry to much ther if you get a good carbon filter ..

the fist tank can also be used a excuses for many thing .. like you said .. the sound .. but also the eletricity use and al the wires sticking out aso.
you could even skip the dirt and grow them autos in DWG/hydro and use the fish tank pump for air to the plants ( I know you can get some with two tubes on them .. one for the fishis and one for the plants

but yea you know .. a good light .. maybe T5HO .. like them you might want for the fish tank easy to buy new tubes and stuff with out them knowing what its realy for

they also give next to no heat and that will be great in a small box .. belive me .. specialy in Romania at summer time

and they are squard like the box (buy the light fist so you knwo what size of box to build)

I reccon 4-8 tubes of 2" feet type (60 ccm long) would be perfect .. maybe 4 tube 2x 6500K and 2x2700K tubes wounld work for a hole growth of autos ..

guess a 4 tube fixture then would be like 70 ccm x 40 ccm maybe so you could build the box ike 1x½ meter or so ? I guess 3-4 autos could fit in ther .. two if it is a large strain .. do some research ..

but yea a box ..maybe paintet white inside .. a light fixture ..a timer .. a 100mm ventilation and a small 100mm carbon filter and a small fan and your good to go ..

I reccon like 200€ could do it .. if your creativ

use the time untill your move to save up money if needed .. read a lot of guids and grow threads .. do all the research and find out what you want and need for that .. and maybe even begin to buy stuff in aso.

will pay off in the end Im sure ..

Yes; a mirror can reflect the infrared wavelengths that carry heat energy. This is the principle of Mylar "space blankets" in survival kits. The glass is a massive object wit the reflective material at the back, and as the light passes through the mass of the glass, some of the light each way is converted into heat. the glass, being massive, holds the heat and gets warmer and warmer, until your grow space is getting too hot for plants to live.

mylar is just a reflector, of radiant light and heat, while glass turns radiant light and heat light into conductive heat, and shares it with the surroundings.

use mylar, or if you can get it smooth enough, aluminium foil. if you do, your grow area wont be shrunk by 5 mm on all sides, the bax will be better able to support the weight, and if you have to move it, your box wont weigh an extra 10 kilos from glass.

So I got a pretty good ideea of the growing room. Someone said to use auto-flowering seeds and the ScrOG growing method. Do you think Autos+ScrOG+Hydroponics will work for me? I would love some help and explanation on hydroponics but also some details about autos and scrog. I have a pretty good ideea about the ScrOG but some tips would be helpful. Thank you all for your replies and help
