Hold on.. I must seriously be mind fucked, as in, my mind is very fucked. Because I re-read it like three times with the same results. You said you call yourself a christian because it seperates you from people that believe in christ. If you seperate yourself from believers in christ then you're not a christian.. Please explain.

i dont think he ever will, and i dont think jesus really had anything to do with god. he was just a good person, thats not too abnormal. ghandi was good, so were plenty of other people, ill gladly help someone in any way i can doesnt mean im the son of god.
dont let religion answer things, theres always a better answer then just throwing god into everything. i also believe jesus christ existed, yet i still dont call myself christian.

But I call myself a Christian (delicately because I wish I walked it better, although I do actively try) because I believe Jesus Christ lived (well they have physical proof he lived now) but I also believe he was the son of God.

motherfuckers. i know that feelin buddy, never good. thats why i got a 12 gauge now, and i do stealth grows. nothin beats walkin by the bushes in your yard knowing you got some fat buds just sitting in the open, yet nobody will ever look at them. i even have a tree that has leaves that look like cannabis leaves, only small 5 fingered ones though.

have you thought about getting a guard dog? maybe some sort of surveillance system? i have motion sensor lights, im sure thats discouraged them plenty of times.

I said it seperates me AS someone who believes in Jesus Christ. As opposed to someone that was say...Jewish and didn't believe Jesus was the son of God?

suppose two people exist on two islands.

person A lives on island A and is a generally bad person. has caused a few traffic accidents because they drive too fast, litters a lot, is mean to their dog. but they profess a belief in jesus and accepts him as their personal savior.

person B lives on island B and is generally a good person. donates their time and money to help the poor, takes care of their aging grandmother, and helps their neighbor repair their roof. but he has never heard of jesus because their island is isolated.

so does generally bad person A go to heaven while generally good person B burns for eternity in hell?

myeh, no proof he was the son of god though. just think about it, they made religion because some questions could not yet be answered, he was so inherently good that people based a religion around him, one im sure he would highly disapprove of. he didnt want people to praise him at all, better yet they still wear fuckin crosses to this day. thats considered blasphemy(not like that even means anything). by being christian and thanking jesus christ, your doing exactly what he didnt want you to do. praise him. but whatever works for you really, if it helps you sleep at night knowing theres something after death and someone unconditionally loves you, by all means disregard anything ive said.

not bringing guns into this. no plant is worth my life or an intruder's life.

my guard dog is still a puppy, but he will be sleeping out there with me come autumn. surveillance is useless to me, i'm not willing to trade my plants for a blurry face pic. have the motion sensors up but that's reactive security, not proactive security. goal is to keep them out altogether.

and your earlier suggestion of an Xbox or something....meh. trollitup is enough entertainment for me.

I had a teacher in a class once that had us discuss it...it was waaay back. It was something like the way they verify a person that far back and in that area was by a list that was made of family members on burial places, and Jesus' name was on a few as a family member. Of course they didn't prove he was the son of God.

I feel bad for shooting down other peoples' beliefs. I knew this old lady that was so "strong" but only because she believed in god. Two of her sons died within two months and her husband died a month after. She still raised her other 4 kids. She was delicate and loving but always had this hard strength to her enforced by her belief in god. She was so happy to have something to believe in.

Whenever you guys make valid points about god I feel bad for rainbow to be honest. I was crushed when I lost my religion.. I have a feeling the old lady I knew wouldn't have been able to move on if I would have crushed her faith either. I mean whatever happens after death is gonna happen no matter what, so why not leave her alone about her beliefs?
