ww to high maybee to long in veg

My ww is in a tent under a 400w with digital ballast -temp 24 c
2 wks into flowering and already my plant is nearly at the light HELP what do I do top the plant or bend? i feed them canna vega/flores the ec reading is 2.4 is this 2 high all the help would be greatly appreciated also how long did u leave ur lades in veg was it from seed?what is ur total grow time ? sorry for being a pain in the ass just to any1 that has harvested ww before

it is 4 foot frop clay pebbles and 6 inch from the bulb

yeh a know they grow allot more up to an inch at dark. I had a problem with my hyro shop taking payment for hid but not sending so i had to make do with a 200w cfl. They kept telling me that the light was on its way but it never came Till 2 weeks ago. so I am just growing my original mother to harvest under the hid and now am cloning 4 new mothers

Punch Lil Holes All Around The Pot,tie Strings Loosely To Each Branch Tie Other End Thru The Holes,bend Em Down Grdually Over A Few Days So Not To Stress Em,then You Will Have Much More Control Dictating The Plants Height,but It Will Get Really Bushy So Make Sure You Have Enuf Space

You can top a plant up to 2 weeks in bloom but that's the max cut-off point for topping. (Personally I'd hate to top at that stage but it can still be done.) You only have 2 choices: top or bend. Take your pick. Either way, keep that light as close as possible without burning to help minimize further stretching. Good Luck!

You wouldn't want it any taller than 4 feet at harvest time with a 400w light, which means, if it's 4 feet now - at 2 weeks into bloom - you'd probably need to cut it in half, down to 2 feet. Even at 4 feet as a finished height a 400w lamp won't be giving the lower branches proper light so, I don't see any point in cutting it any taller than 2 feet, IF, you chose to do that. Now, if you get it bent properly, meaning so that it gets proper light throughout the rest of bloom, I would expect you to get more yield than if you top it at this point ... just do whatever you're more comfortable with.

just gona try bending it not ready to hack into her I know u have to be cruel to be kind but all the bushyness is at the top. if I topped her to 2 feet id have fook all lol. my m8 had to do this a few times so im just gona bend her and throw my other 400w in beside her thanks for your info well appreciated. but say if I did topp her could I root the rest Or would she just die

Definitely, that's exactly what you would do - under normal circumstances. The problem is, you are already into the bloom cycle which is not the best time to be cloning plants. (Yes, the 'top' would be considered a clone.) This means (while already in bloom) there will be time wasted while the top takes root, the main plant will need to recover from the topping procedure ... it's not that it can't be done, it just seems wiser to bend it. Now that I hear you have 2 lamps, you should be in fine shape to pull off a good yield.

yeh I have another ballast but its a normal 400w and my new 1 is digital so was wanting to see the effects of the new 1 on its own to see what the difference was thanks for the input
