I'm on my frist grow too and I'm about 400$ deep in my setup. Every time I go to this hydroponics store in town the guy hooks it up fat I've also won some things from there and got a ton of free shit my plant r going on three months and Im gonna flower soon hope it all goes well

thats what im doing, im trying to harvest every 2 weeks. i started plants about 3 weeks ago and im working on germinating more. only difference is i got a proper setup.. a 400w hps etc. im a teenager also.this is my second grow. first grow was harvest early due to impatient and height/temp issues. plus they were in 5 gallon buckets which was overkill and took too much room. now, im keeping them in red party cups until sex is shown then transplanting into a bigger pot. i basically do 12/12 from seed veg for a week or so to get roots started.

Nice. As soon as I move out I'm gonna start up something close to that. Id like a harvest every two weeks too getting at least an ounce from each plant. How many plants will you have growing at once to get a harvest ever two weeks.

i dont know quite yet until it happens im using bagseeds until i get it all down and its easy to do. i grew 3 plants my first time and got 2.5 oz but they wernt done

right now i got 10 in there, by the time i get all the males/weak ones out i say about 2 or 3 females.. then ill put more in there to sex.

no. it was 2.5 for all 3 plants. you wont get much it will be very airy of fluffy.

you need 2700k bulbs for flower not 6500k.

With the lighting and soil you are using I would say that's pretty damn good. Also putting your plants in the sun for most of the day will give you hefty, robust bugs, and throwing them under those cfls for an hour is better than cutting away an hour of light.

I think the trick is the sunlight it gets. I like the 12/12 thing right now. I just hope the yeild is ok
