Don't leave your door open!

Especially if you have an open container of ice cream in your car on a Sunday! :dunce:
tht's just common sense. i would do that if no laws existed whatsoever telling me not to leave my driver side door open on the side available to traffic.

What about part B? What's considered longer than necessary? It doesn't bother you a cop is using a stop watch and intently watching you unload passengers? The fact they have a statute for it and a cop watches you is spooky. That law was made so a cop has legal excuse to approach you for probable cause on other violations they wouldn't be able to check for. So when a judge asks why they were questioned, "your honor, the party took too long to get out of their car, so I assumed they were terrorists. That's why I water boarded them." :dunce: Because obviously there's never a valid excuse for taking too long getting out of a car. Doesn't matter if no one is around. No one got hurt. The law is the law. Take more than 35.2 seconds to get out of your car, a baton goes up your ass.

How about Oregon doesn't let you get sugar highs on Sunday? Is it only for real ice cream? Does my Almond Dream count?

Oregon also has a government official watch you during sex so you don't talk dirty. Sex is for baby making only!

Know your laws.

Yes. Everybody who posts in response to you disagrees with you.

If you truly feel that way you should
a) see a therapist
b) change your position because you probably are wrong
No, not everyone who posts in response to me, disagrees with me.

I don't feel that way, so I should
a) not see a therapist
b) not change my position, because you failed to logically respond to my position regarding the subject at hand

Oh, damn. You caught me...
Apparently I did.

Clearly this would be a situation where I would draw you a picture. So here you go

Apparently I did.
Is your ego really that important that we have to go back and forth on this forever? I get it, you're upset because I laughed at your typo. :)

I used to blow glass...recently got my first set up in 10 years...gonna kick it off again..

I was puffin dank out of the LAST chillum I had of the pieces I blew when I came upon a roadblock in Mississippi.

I tried to toss the bowl but I was high and it hit the passengers side door glass and busted resin all across the dash....

as I was pulling up to a MS State Trooper.

"Can I see youe license...are you smoking marijuana"...in the same breath.

Oh Fuck.

I proceeded to lie my ass off with some BS about my wife leaving me....blah blah...

actually broke a tear out for the guy. Kinda like a scared little girl.

He played his tuff guy saving the world routine...made me smash my weed in the ground....and turned me loose.

Trippy shit man.

I would have liked to see how it played out if the camera was hidden,I think the cops would have acted different. Also how's this play out of you are under the influence?
I think it depends entirely on the cops and how under the influence you are.

If the cops are respecting your rights and the law, this is a completely safe tactic to undertake to avoid giving them any kind of probable cause -- even if you have had a few drinks. You have a right not to answer incriminating questions, and you have a right not to answer any questions by the cops (except, in many places, your name and possibly address.) If the cops can't smell it on you, and you don't slur your words, and you don't give them a chance to try and get something out of you or see you stumble when you get out of the car or do their drunk test, well, they have no reason to arrest you or, legally, even suspect you. If the cops still pull you out and test you for DUI -- and arrest/ticket you for DUI -- there's a chance that your lawyer could get it thrown out as being a search without cause.

I think the camera definitely makes a difference as far as less hassle goes, but if you've got a good cop, you won't need it.

Unfortunately, there're a lot of bad cops out there who think the laws don't apply to them, so...I'd say your mileage may vary.

no camera = you are fucked

Cop just cannot go into your car
but there is nothing stopping them from asking you to step out and them holding the door open
No do not try to close it. That is assault on a police officer

The police have no right to stop you if you aren't violating any laws. The police have no right to demand a driver's license. You must only show a driver's license iff you are a driver and therefore have a contract with the dmv.
This is, depending on the state, not true. In some states the police have the right to demand identification, and if you have it, you have to cough it up.

What fucked up is that we live in a police state where this is even an issue.

We all know the real deal.

No camera=fucked

Cops do what they want...when they want...with little fear of retribution.

Because if its NOT on a fuckin video....it didn't happen. As far as a judge is concerned anyway.

See....the judges are on the cops side. Not yours. Innocent until proven........is utter bullshit.

My lawyer...your lawyer...and the judge....ALL play golf together at the same country club.

Thats why our country is fucked.

The Gestapo is correct. How long before kids are encouraged to turn their parents "in' for things like drinking and driving?

Scary shit.

We are all sitting here like sheep.

IMHO

"A Burnsville man on his way to work was arrested and thrown in jail without bond, and then subjected to electronic home monitoring. But it wasn’t for drugs or a DWI or some other major crime.
Burnsville city leaders say Mitch Faber’s dealings with the law all stem from his failure to properly put up siding on his house."

They are out of control.... only one thing will end this.

Well I think I would move away from there. Staying there could drive me to do something unkind to the local authorities.
