the shelf models of that camera were 500$ so i asked the guy that worked there if they had any later models in the back, he brought out this camera for 400$ from last spring.

the one i got came with a SD card and a really nice case.

camera bag.jpg

the bag itself is a 50$ camera bag + 10$ for the SD card i thought it was a sweet deal paid around 440$ for the whole thing

I think I will germ a veneno with the thc bomb. They say it has over 20% thc and that is fairly high. Can't wait to see the blueberry gum.

thanks man!!!!

few more weeks should have a jungle in there :)
The jungle can get crazy fast. Here's my jungle 32" tent under 400w hps a couple weeks ago. Today it's really packed. I decided I can't really flower this many anymore until i can get more space. Also fwiw, I'm finding that perpetual grow can lead to perpetual problems. If you ever get something nasty, it can stick around for a while until you get rid of everything and start fresh.

nicely done matt! i thought i had been to this thread, but i guess not. sorry for not stoppin by sooner man! anyway im jealous. as always. thats a SICK camera. cant wait to pick up my t3i. wife still says no fucking way every time i ask tho lol. anyway...i LOVE your lil ghetto bubbleponics. i have been bored recently (never a good thing), as all i can do with my current grow is water, watch, and wait. although im not complaining, i still need to build. have been researching bubbleponics for a while now. i think i even posted about it earlier on my thread...anyway i love it, and everything else looks amazing too! i have been thinking about the nutes i am using, and am realizing i should probably do as you do and keep the MG as a BACKUP, what should i switch to? the veg formula i been using is miracid, which is 30 10 10...very high. bloom booster MG is like 10 20 10 or something...anyway want to switch to a feed that isnt chem...suggestions?

im pretty sure the fox farm products are organic.

you can look back a few pages and see my list of soil ammendments, im hoping between all that and the worm casting tea i wont have to add anything else.

all of my plants seem to be doing great on the organic medium. the only problem with organics is it takes time to establish a good soil and you dont get instant food like you do with chemical fertilizers.

i say go get yourself a bag of worm castings they are high in the microbes you need to break down organic matter into the nutrients plants use.

Gastanker is probally a better guy to talk to if you want to start an organic grow as he has been doing it for alot longer then me. but so far my experience is that it is worth it 100% my plants all look great, no burns no deficiencies.

alright, i am looking into a dual arc MH/HPS bulb anyone have any links i need a 400w one, also any comments on this matte would be great :)

on a plus side i woke up this morning and my blueberrly gum had a tap root coming out, not alot just a small spec of white. not too bad tho only 12 hours in the paper tower and it has cracked, this may be a vigerous seed ready to grow like crazy :) probally put it into soil in a few hours going out of town tonight and want to do a pic update on sunday..

please leave info comments on the dual arc bulb i am interested in them but not sure if they will be worth the money or if my ballast will even support them. :)

Never used one but I would be slightly worried about the cast distance. A 400w single emission source casts "harder" or further than two 200w emission sources. Although it is one bulb, if there are two arcs each is running at half the total wattage of the ballast - the same as two 200w bulb just very very close to each other. For instance most 1000w dual arc bulb are a 600w internal HPS coupled with a 400w internal MH - great for covering a 4x4 with mixed spectrum but I really doubt you would see the same yield if you backed the light off to cover a 5x5 area as you would with just a regular 1kW HPS - simply more lumen from a single source. And then there is price... But I am very interested to see the results if you get one - like I said I've never used one so they could be amazing. Personally I would lean toward testing out a CMH first - you would have to buy a cheap magnetic ballast but those are cheap as hell and so are CMH bulbs.

Ceramic metal halide. It's a really cheap form of MH that actually has an amazing spectrum including a bit of UV. I've seen several growers have amazing results using them all the way through veg and flower. The annoying part is that they run on magnetic ballasts only.

Hydrofarm makes a nice dual bulb hood called Growzilla. You can fit up to 2 x 1k bulbs HPS/MH for full spectrum. I thought about getting one, but the time is not right now. I have a coupon to get one for $117 new, if anyone's interested PM me.

l spec bulb for a reasonable price that would fit my current ballast/hood

my plants are all doing really good on the HPS bulb. they are vegging right now but does not seem to matter. just fig the dual spec bulb would be better but if its basicly like downgrading a 400w to 2x 200w i am not sure if its really worth it.

put my blueberry gum in soil. the tap root was barely sticking out but i want it to do its thing over night and hope i have a seedling by the time i get home tomorow.

thanks for everyones input always appreciated. maybe if i win some money tonight at the casino i can upgrade :) probally not tho lol. would have to win about 50,000$ for my lady to allow me to spend more money on this grow.......

still not much going on. just tied down my blue cheese to the tote, the first of many tie downs to come.

the auto hobbit has started floweing i have a few white hairs protruding im guessing withing the next day or so i will have white hairs all over the place.

the seedling bluberry gum seedling is doing well but not above soil yet, hoping by tomorow night i have some good pictures up for everyone. within 2 weeks the bagseeds will go into the CFL box to be put into flower and i will continue to vegg out the good beans in the tent for a while. need to clear up some room in there its getting crowded especially now that i just popped another bean. im hoping in 2 weeks the revegg on the 3 clones from my last grow has straightened out and they can go into flower with the other bagseeds.
