Endless Sky

I agree with Kitty regarding those strains from Doc.

Kitty- how is the yield and height of the plants on the Bubblelicious? I'm looking for a new strain to grow. Thanks.

And, how did your Endless Sky turn out?

The Endless Sky that we chopped at day 50 turned out nice. It certainly is benefiting from going to day 56, as the next harvest in a week is going to... We will be phasing ES down and ramping up Bubblelicious and Snow White, which we think are better strains. Since we've also grown them before and havent had them in a year it'll be fun again. ;)

Bubblelicious and Snow White from Nirvana will yield near identical, 6 plants under a 1000w will yield me 4oz per plant w/o co2. Veg em for about 2-3 weeks. They will be about 3 feet tall plus....

So, if you had to pick 1, which would it be: Bubblelicious or Snow Wht?

And I'm not surprised about the Endless Sky. I had another friend give up on it too. It's just average and nothing special anymore.

I'd say its above average, but certainly not above enough to call it top shelf......

Bubblelicious all the way! Nirvana's genetics of course, there's a lot of Bubbleblahblahblahs out there........ :) :) :)

Very nice set up......if I had that much room, I could retire in 10 years! LOL

Bubblelicious is next for me- I ordered 25 beans today from Attitude. Got tons of freebies and a free DNA T-shirt to boot.

Thanks again for the advice!

i've posted in this thread already, but for the sake of a great strain, i'll post again. endless sky is an "awesome" strain!!! you just have to be very careful when feeding! e.s. is extremely nute sensitive. increase feed strength slowly. it is a very light feeder and easily burned by overfeeding!!!

I dont know man........... It's OK, but I wouldnt recommend it to anyone either............ Have you tried any other strains? :)

You see Kitty- I spoke the truth about the strain. Dr. Greenthumb employees/family who post here have a lot to lose as the reputation on this strain continues to spread. It's lost something in the past few years- and as I reported earlier- I believe the original parents are gone and Doc is breeding again looking for the lost magic. This is "C" grade weed now and I know of about 200 strains I'd grow out before this. Some people just have to try for themselves. I've encouraged people - WHO RECENTLY GREW THIS OUT- to post something positive and it always "I grew it years ago and it was great". Well, maybe, but it's a bust now. Then add the way expensive cost of these particular seeds. Run from this strain people or get ready to be pissed about the final quality. And thanks kitty- I feel redeemed!

That may very well be true but luckily I know breeders around here that have the original Endless Sky. There have been a few new strains created using endless sky. I have tried a few of those new strains and they are also very good.

Just a quick update. The endless sky I have are a couple of weeks old and doing the same shit as last time I tried. I'll post pics next time I do pics. All my other seedlings are in the same conditions and doing fine, including the indoor mix from greenthumb.
Bassically once they have 3-4 nodes the oldest leaves start turning brown like a nute burn at the tips and continue to kill the leaf, just as the newest set of leaves come out good the next set of older leaves starts it. I don't know I feel it's a waste of time for me to figure out what is the issue wit hthese. I'm debating sending greenthumb a msg bout this. I don't want to knock ne breeders but I've heard alot of knockin on this one.
Were you feeding them the same as your other plants? If so that may be your problem.

Merry Christmas all

I don't doubt it. I still know someone who has a mother from years ago who continues to keep the plant handy. My ONLY point is the plant grown from seeds currently is now different and just average bud. Nothing more, nothing less. And the only thing Doc's wife can come up with is: "you don't know how to grow. You must be a newbie". That's why I refuse to buy their goods anymore. Here'a bud for you Doc- this is what it's supposed to look like:

That's not right saying you don't know how to grow when she doesn't even know you. She really said that to you? That's so messed up. Man looks like you got the best looking pheno. Do you still have that pheno? She is a beaut. Hey SSHZ. I write a blog called Cannabis Country and I have a Buds of the week segment I try to do once a week. Would you be interested in submitting that bud picture to be featured on a buds of the week segment? I sure would love to have her featured! And I have it so people can't copy pics from my blog so she would be safe.

How did she smoke? That be funny if we knew the same person who keeps a mother. It actually happened to me with someone else from this forum with a strain called Jerry Berry. Come to find out we lived in the same area and new the same breeders. Your not from the east coast by any chance are you?

Lots of questions.

1. Yes, I am on the east coast. Growing since 1988. Know lots of people over the years.

2. The plant pictured is TopDawg's Purple StarDawg that's a week or two away from finishing.

3. I have a large presence on THCFarmer.com and have a detailed gallery there of pictures from many crops. But, yes, I'd love to see my pictures up elsewhere.

4. I was told by a mod that it was Dr. GreenThumb's employee (I'm guessing his wife) that I was bickering with. That's her answer to everyone that is unhappy with their stuff- "You don't know how to grow". That's what is pissing me off. I've been growing commercially for over 20 years. If I wasn't any good, I'd been out of business in the 1990's.

Send me a link to look you're blog over. Thanks.

5. I have an Endless Sky detailed grow on THCFarmer. You can read about the details of the un-successful grow there all you want.

Thanks SSHZ............... The whole issue I had from the first day of Endless Sky is that everyone who had something to say about it never had anything to show for what they were talking about............ You know standard forum game. <G> I'm glad we tried this ourselves. Its now Christmas Day and they were germinated in June. Takes a while to do a conclusive test...............

I'd love for a nug of my Endless Sky to look like that purple bulbish monster in the pictures above, but it sure isnt coming with the seeds that they are shipping right now..... :) :)

We're back to Bubblelicious and Snow White (two Nirvana favorites) and then have some others on order and in pre-mommy stages right now. Our crops of Endless Sky should probably be over within around 80 or 90 days once the clones are finished making their way to harvestable adults.........
