I have to say there's 3 California's . Southern from LA south and northern from the 50 up. Central in between at least that's how it feels to me.Here's a question,

Fair enough the 118 freeway to The start of 88 in Lodi is central and the rest is northern. There's deffinately a different feel in each zone.I vote for Hwy 88 as the break point for Norcal.

I was born in LA & grew up in San Diego, I've had plenty of SoCal time.
NorCal fits me better, now
