Yah I'm a new kid ... I realize that.
There was a great thread not too long ago in which the expression "sacrificing a goat" became the focus of a very interesting misunderstanding ... and now it's synonymous with the act of masturbation.
I guess I also look with a raised eyebrow at the use of the term "meme" for what amounts to a one-frame cartoon. ~sigh~ can't stop progress, I guess.

Unnk, that is one of my gripes. The term was coined to describe what amounts to a noetic life form. To see it popularized into a definition for the one-frame cartoon is a sad self-evaluation of online culture. Imo. cn
