really suprised to see junkie against the first real possibility to legalize(in some way) the great plant of life? main page article on voting no for 1 502. anything is better then the current setup. let the state deal with the feds instead of civilian dispensary owners with no power to protect themselves. state backed legalization is the only way to actually be protected, especially if there profit margin is concerned. just wondering if any other washinton junkies feel that junkie shouldnt cut the legs out from under us here in washington?:finger:

I read about it today, I just moved to spokane and am planning on getting my card soon, and it seems like its pretty back and forth. And unfortunately Spokane isnt as interested in protecting mmj as much as seattle. I hope it improves, and hope dispensaries will be legally allowed. Because im not 100% confident in my growing abilities and would like to have backup lol

502 is a piece of shit. Nobody in the MMJ/growing community supports it. Only cops, politicians and ignorant stoners who fantasize of buying cheap schwag at liquor stores support 502. Don't be fooled by the slick marketing campaign, 502 will just shift the power from experienced, quality growers to corporate cocksuckers like big tobacco, alcohol and pharma. 25% tax is an unfair raping too. So, it won't likely be much cheaper than it is now, if at all. It will just be inferior quality and lower potency for probably about the same cost.

excuse me sir or miss, but i have been an extremely successful cultivator for both myself friends and dispensaries alike, and believe you are very narrow minded person in alienating my opinion and labeling me for opposing your opinion. my support of this is simply to put something other then the current system in place. the medical laws will in no way be affected so this only effects people still trying to do it for profit only.( which as a grower i believe you should still have to pay taxes because everyone else does, pay your taxes dont get busted:) )i think anything that gets the ball rolling and forces the state to protect itself, as aposed to powerless dispensary owners and growers who have no police force or militia it can use or posture politically with. the system is broken already at least trying something else is a step. open your mind please unless like i said you are in it strictly for profit in which case i hope they get ya anyway, because if most growers were forced to pay taxes and abide health and safety regulations they wouldnt want to work so hard. and wouldnt and you would be back to flipping burgers. right?

It is bullshit Gov greed trying to get their hands on all that tax money and they tell stupid people like you it will save the economy! LOL Everyone is running around talking about how it will drop the price and everything will be all better! It won't do anything like that, people grow now and just make it by, unless you break the law! If you cut the price in half people wont be able to afford to grow quality shit so they will either grow commercial strains to make that dollar or they will quit. Then you will have a larger demand on the street for quality shit and a ton of schwag from the state. Thus creating more demand and low supply then the price will go right back to where it is now.

I love stupid people that thing the State/Gov has their best intrests in mind. They only go for the tax dollar that they waist 1/2 of! How will half our money thrown out the window help the state? If the State truely legalized it and let the people grow/sell the money would stay in the TAX PAYERS hands! Then those tax payers would go to local stores and markets and spend that money! What does that do......... Oh shit that bosts the economy more spending " And that is what the gov is trying to get us to do is spend" then stores will have to hire more people...... Oh shit that creates jobs!

No no no bongrip let's let the gov tax us for shit weed then turn around and throw 50% of the tax dollars into a shreader, take the rest of our tax money and throw it into broke dick programs! AWESOME idea!

well, as i see it explained to me it will put interest in the revenues from the 25% tax in the state, forcing political posturing between state officials and the feds. the state is going to protect its consumer. they have nothing to gain financially from helping med patients because they dont pay taxes, its aweful but you have to pay to play.if they have revenue to lose from your imprisonment they will protect you. thats just one of a few things this can accomplish.

like i said ignorant people who dont trust the government need to take the foil off. everybody pays taxes! there is no escaping it. regulation and taxation creates a marketplace. the state protects marketplaces. they will not protect the black market because they have nothing to gain. its called capitalism meaning by a definition to impose acts or strategies that capitalize upon a need or commodity. know your laws, know your rights, pay your taxes!!!! pretty simple. alcohol figured it out now look its on television! and only the black market stands to lose. sounds like you have only one reason to be against I-502, right?
