Good job there, blazedmonkey. I'll be following this.
I am interested in the pro-grows, just kinda trying to figure out the spectrum they use. Do you guys know? Don't want to know the exact ratio but, it's kinda bothering me do you know what I mean? (red? hyper red? far red? etc?)

You seem to know those lights a bit! Do you kind of know about spectrum?
Do you know, apart from CREE, what chips brand they use for some of the nm?

@oligrow, Using a Progrow LED 260 Early 2011 model. Pulls 170-180W. My first time using the light or any LED and it has preformed how i expected it to so im happy. Not pulling huge weight but it looks to be producing quality medicine and i dont need a ton anyway

Thanks Jubiare, nope couldnt tell you the specs. Hoss has done a ton more research than me and would be the one to ask or shoot an email over to the owner using the contact on their site. I know that my panel has alot of white bulbs that i believe are high in the Kelvin scale whereas the new model has less/no white and has more blue/violet.

Well girls are doing awesome despite a slight timer issue. Green Killing Fields is looking so dank, literally dipped in crystals.

Green pheno has an Small issue could be PH or nute or possibly normal flowering. I'll post pics of the leaves later

I asked when I bought mine (about the specific nm employed). The answer was it is a proprietary mix of nm, 7 at the time I bought most of mine now 14. The lens angles are not all the same either. It depends which model but its a mix of 60, 90, and 120. I have one of the new 180s - def more blues in the mix.

I took it as they don't want J Q. electrician building their own to the same specs when they did the research to come up with the mix. I asked Mike at GLH when I bought one of his 12 spectrum ufos - no dice. A lot of the higher end companies are like that.

What do you think you'll pull weight wise Monkey? I'd give you smore rep if I could for those last pics they look mighty tasty.

Thanks man. Weight Wise? Hmmm good question, to be honest ive not grown a ton so i dont know how well i can guess.

But looking at it and throwing shots in the dark i would guess 45g? Im looking for 70g so that would be a bit short of what i wanted. Partly my fault i think if i hadnt had over-watered the roots in the start they would have been much bigger with many more nodes especially the purple KF and the kush.

Quality wise they look and smell amazing though.

Well see though maybe im wrong and they will yield closer to my goal.
BTW what is this? Its on the green pheno of the KF. Normal end flowering or some kind of PH/nute issue?

yeah leaves will get brown during the end of the life cycle but its usually a uniform browning/yellowing instead of being pronounced on one or two leaves. Did you get a bit of nutrient solution on them while watering?

It kinda looks like leaves I've had where I went to water with a nutrient solution meant for soil not foliar feeding and spilt a little on the leaf causing it to yellow out.

Good chances, those are leaves near the bottom and it can splash on them easily. However the one leaf with the rust spots/worn spots is up near the top of the canopy so i dont know about that one :/
Oh well i guess we will see.

if it starts to spread my usual go to is a quick sledgehammer flush and regular filtered water for the next three feedings then back to the nutes, but it would appear your plants are super freaking healthy aside from those couple leaves. What are you feeding them right now?

Well they were burnt a week or two back from some jacks classic bloom so the past couple times have been water run through a Brits filter. I'll probably give her another light dose of bloom tonight.

I'm excited to start wrapping this grow up. Those killing fields smell like skittles and pez candy had a baby and then that baby had a baby with sticky dank weed.

Still think that the green KF has a mild case of Mag def. I gave it some bloom last night. Today looks about the same got some epsom salts i plan to add to the next water/feeding just to make sure.

Also switched today to the flowering spectrum today(omg is it red). Hopefully it increases the flowering hormones and goodies and i get bigger danker plants Everythings looking good. Cruise control at this point. Might start the Kush drowning this weekend.

i burn my autos all the time , rarely do i burn my phot's unless im trying to push a new strain to test its limits

from reading your thread i think you'd double your current yeilds if you switched to coco , much easier to flush as well

Im interested in Coco. Was looking at hempy buckets seemed simple and easy is that what you would suggest to get started?

Also i believe my water is hard, someone said it contains lots of calcium.

where are they man? Did the spots clear up? From the look of the last pics it would appear you're drawing close to d-day.

No spots havent cleared up:/ Might not be a mag might be a K def caused by Salt build up. These pots dont drain like normal pots and i think all the salts just sitting on the bottom.

Thinking of either drilling a normal hole in bottom (but would damage the roots ?) or i could flush them with a ton of water (which could damage the roots/microbelife) .
Probably going to just drill them.

Yah the Kush is ready to start the process, ill be starting the drown tonight. The killing fields have all red pistils but they havent receded into the buds yet so im going to try to let them go longer.
Ill put up pictures of the plants tonight. Im worried that if it is K lockout from Na that giving it Mag only made the problem worse by adding more salts :/
Guess we shall see tonight.

Roots die and regrow constantly, I think damaging a couple would be totally fine. I damage some shit when I transplant, and they seem fine.

I agree it won't hurt if you put some holes in the bottom and possibly do minor damage to the roots. I also really love my smart pots.

They're super cheap, reusable, and for me they made judging watering easier and won't cause roots to circle at the base of the pot. Roots get air pruned as they grow out of the fabric of the pot which actually encourages better root structure.
