If they do that would be great. They might try to take away our right to grow because of this new medicine, but being a schedule 3 drug, the charges for growing your own would not be as scary.

why would anybody what the pharmacutical industry to take over?? this country is about the people let the caregivers grow for the patients or grow your own f the pharma it'll be beasters at best anyways theres good bud around now because theres people who have passion to grow you give somebody a plant that they don't give a shit about its not going to be good

I couldn't give a shit if you think you need validation or not, I was speaking of medical marijuana getting validated.
It will get harder for politicians to argue it's medicinal values if big pharma gets involved.
Their aim is to make profits like any other corporation, and I seriously doubt they've given growers like us even a moment of thought.

And seriously, stop comparing mmj to shit like aspirin.

As for your Asprin comment Buddy, ever see the DEA try to control willows? Do you believe that because things get rescheduled, that will end Cannabis prohibition some how? Here is a real question for you guys. What has the FDA/gov changed to allow for a 100% plant based med to be allowed? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that tis was one of the major hang-ups. To hard to make homogenous, there for too difficult to manufacture with consistent results/effect.

This is the type of thing that is driving kind and courteous people away from this site. Nobody wants to see arguing and all the negativity involved with name calling. Ceph, you contributed alot of civil and fair material to this thread and I apologize for saying "you guys".

Buddy, If you can't contribute to a civilized debate without getting a bloody and painful anus hole, just move along to a thread that won't be so hard to control your fury in. NOTHING is accomplished by calling members terrible names and cursing like a sailor.

Again, Ceph, I apologize to you for categorizing you. It's just that I'm so tired of lurking a VERY interesting thread only to get half through it and see people start to let their egos get their mouths going.

It's all good and I agree with you, we need to be talking to each other, not over each other. I'm going to take the oppurtunity to make an open apology to Buddy for the offense my validation comment may have caused and to anyone else I may or may not have, or directly or indirectly offended. Sorry. I truly believe that we're slated to get a raw deal and I personally find it particularly frustrating, the feelings of inability. The people have been screaming injustice for nearly 80 years now and all of the sudden it's going to be ok for an overseas Big Pharma co and no one else state side. Vorboden they say! Bullshit I say!

Has anyone seen what, if any thing has changed that the FDA is now going to allow for a 100% plant based medicine to be listed Sched 3? To the best of my understanding, this has been the claim of difficulty to allow something like this. Also likely the reason some of these products you see make astounding claims are immediately followed by the disclaimer that these statements have not been evaluated by the FDA or something too that effect. I'm afraid it's as simple as, it's a big club, that you and I will never be a part of.
