You might have a hermie. Hermies arn't so bad. Look at it this way, If you were able to get the seeds to grow properly you have a lot of Female seeds. Female seeds are great to have. Less crap to worry about when planting your next cycle.
Hermies produce = Female seeds = which produce 100% of the time female plants.

This isn't necessarily a miracle though, some will be unstable and may hermie themselves. When making your own fem seeds make sure to keep a close watch, or history can repeat itself on a bigger scale

Right, that's it from me, I shall fade back into obscurity. It has been fun to watch all this blow up. I really didn't expect it to, but I guess if it brought about a discussion about how new members to this forum should be treated with respect then some good came of it all. I am officially leaving you to your (fucking) hobbies, because, like I said, I don't really smoke weed (that doesn't mean I never smoke it btw) and I only really took over the plants for the luls and yes, believe it or not, to give any proceeds away to my friends (I'm assuming you have friends too, Slimjim, and that you would have done the same for yours). Living in a liberal European state, I was never at that much risk having them on my balcony. Anyway, the plants have been killed. They were chopped up and put in a plastic bag and sealed, then thrown in the bin downstairs.

I left a message on his page just in case he does come back just to generally apologise for the events of this topic, things got out of hand but as I told him if anything the things that were said here mainly reflect the attitude that most members have towards bullies. I find that the majority of members won't tolerate rudeness and that's something that makes me proud to be a RIU member. I do hope that he's not been chased away by a few people that I don't feel give a good first impression of the site.

Anyway, I'd recommend we stop mentioning people like Slimjim, I doubt that if he returns he'll really want to come back to the RIU civil war

I hate to tell you but sensimilla is a very new concept and a lot of growers (especially ones who've been growing since the old days) would argue that the best bud is bud which has been seeded. Seeded bud doesn't necessarily even lose potency, it just stops producing THC, so if it was seeded late into flowering it can be every bit as potent. Not to mention that the idea of hash/oil/cannabutter etc. is to draw the THC out so that hermie or female it would all be the same stuff.

Also the strongest method of extraction is butane honey oil by most peoples' consensus, fuck bubble hash

As I said, the idea is to seperate the THC, and can do this in a smaller amount of substance in order to make the solute more concentrated, the only thing that could ever stop him from increasing the amount of THC in the hash would be when he saturates the mixture meaning that it is at maximum capacity of THC dissolved into it.

Long story short a pile of low THC trimmings of weed can make a block of hash with the same strength as a pile of chronic. In actuallity it's just more likely to mean less THC wasted by saturating the mixture.

I did a little digging for myself, and the concept of stronger seeded buds was first cited in Robert Clarke's "Marijuana botany- an advanced study". He states that because the plant still needs to protect the seeds, it gives itself two primary functions, producing viable seeds and producing more trichomes within the vicinity of the seeds because they act as a natural sunscreen to UV which is otherwise harmful. The science actually seems sound behind. Until you publish a book of your own studies, slimjim, I'm actually going to go with Clarke on this one and do some more in-detail reading of his studies.

I probably won't go through the effort of seeding my buds but if it all pans out I may actually start.
