One month since the seed hit a cup of water! Almost time to adjust it again!

you could try getting something wet..like a a roll of paper towels and wrap them around the base of your plants so the paper towle sits on top of your soil. it will keep the light off the the soil and help keep the soil a lil more wet longer.....i havent tried this, but it sounds good in theory

You can just cut you off a piece of foil and cut a slit in it

Just lay it on top of your soil , it will help block the heat from the light and your soil wont dry out as quick

I used panda plastic to cover my last party cup for a while and it did the same thing still. I might try it again.

Woot my sage experiment is showing fem. Looking at the calender I think I'm gonna throw it in a 3 gallon though. 2 months to the day left and it's a 12 week flower.
