What up budsmoker you still wanting to use that sulfur, we just talked about it other day...lol. I have never used it, and i'd think it would have to leave a egg fart taste on your bud.

^hahaha yea, i'm not too worried about the smell/taste staying on the bud or anything....and i'll try to avoid using it (if weather cooperates) when i get closer to harvest (2 weeks out)

but yea I want to nip the problem in the bud now instead of having to potentially snip buds off if mold pops up...prevention is best

my buddy who grows some outdoors (but mostly indoors) said to put a clear tarp over the buds until they finish....if this is necessary to prevent mold i'll do it, but if I can avoid drawing attention from hunters and the like with plastic tarps then yeah, by all means lol

why bother with sulfer just goin to kill your self or someone else if they smoke it no matter where you are wouldnt worry bout mold if plants are still growing its when you chop it you need to get it to ventelated area asap normally outdoor you chop second frost

Tristyn I may just buy that GreenCure fungicide and just use that instead of a canopy. Do you hear good things about it?

Yes, i have heard quite a few people i know saying good shit about it. But yeah baking soda supposed to work good also, i think it changes the ph so it can't propagate is what i read, guess it helps with powdery mildew also. I used it already this year that last rain gave me some mold on one of my big cheeses and it hasn't come back.

Cool should I spray before bud rot is even an issue to prevent any future issues?

no don't hold me to that and he said before second frost. I was just stating what i'd been told by some old timer's around here. But i have left many plant's out through a frost if they weren't ready.

when would you two recomend harvesting, the day after second frost?
the day before potential second frost?
also what happens to the palnt if left out for a frost or 2 or 3?

usually try to get em out before hunters start wandering the woods. Frost is bad because the morning sunlight burns the plant, if you know the area well, you can set them so the morning sun wont hit them, that will let the frost melt off. Using this method u can get a little xtra time out there if you must.

too hard of a frost will turn the buds to "frozen spniach" texture. a slight frost is okay. two slight frosts is too many imo. dang, is it that time already?
