Need Naphtha - Canada

I'm looking for a source/brand of Naphtha in Canada, I heard heptane and hexane can be used aswell.
I also heard good and bad reviews on coleman fuel and pretty good reviews on Ronsonol.

What have you used in the past? I think I might just pick up both and see which one evaporates cleaner...
I picked up pure lye crystals from Home hardware... huge bucket of them for only 20$.

Why not use 99.9% Isopropyl Alcohol to get your oil extract? It is anhydrous and will boil off easy in a crock pot, with a fan blowing across the top to keep the vapors down and bam you got Hemp oil.

did he say he was makin hemp oil? im not sure he is..

I've read many reports of people using Ronsonol, but i've not done any extractions myself.. so have no input other than thats the one i've seen the most..

Okay so i have purchased Ronsonol but Only a small bottle for testing purposes, They also carry Coleman Fuel...
So if Ronsonol doesn't work I guess i might aswell use coleman.

Just so you know hexane and heptane (and pentane and octane) all work just as well (and evaporate faster). What kind of gloves did you get? You want thick latex or nitriles for dealing with base and organic solvent. Do you have a respirator or just a dust mask? Breathing in lye dust is very very bad.

Basic yellow gloves, I have yet bought the mask.. I am going out today to pick up the last of my supply's.
any recommendations? Also does Naphtha dissolve plastic or should i get a glass baster?

I also need a TEK, I think i might go with Marsofold but i heard it gives horrible yields but very white product.
Anyone here know of any teks :)

I have heard of it :] I don't think I want to do a STB extraction, just kinda worried about the yield from Marsofolds tek.
STB does give you alot more though...
What are some things that will help increase the yield for an A/B extraction?

If those gloves are latex or nitrile they'll work great. Personally I favor 8mil nitriles with a long cuff because the increase in dexterity is well worth the slight drop in protection. Where clothes you don't care about, and cover your whole body. That lye solution is quite concentrated. I'd get a respirator over a dust mask.
The colder you can get the naphtha the better. Evaporate it down a lot. I read the marsofolds one and it looks fine. I'd rather get a bit less white powder than more of a yellow one. Make sure you use ph paper to make sure you hit 13. A/Bs are something you need to learn by doing like recrystalization.

Eye just did a 100gm extraction :) It gave decent results for the first full.. Probably enough for 1 good trip.
Question though.. its in freezer still right now.. but there is a film of liquid that has frozen that doesn't seem to be evaporating.
When eye took it out of the freezer eye saw that this film was melting quickly and formed a pull of liquid around the crystals. Should eye leave it in there longer or should eye just take it out and fan evaporate it?

Is it just me or is DMT really soft? It also smells like plastic/bee's wax.

Karmapuff, the naphtha doesn't evaporate in the freezer, you evaporate most of it to make it concentrated and then you freeze it so the solubility of the dmt drops so low that it precipitates out. Was the pool of liquid that froze on top of the naphtha or below it? If it is below it it's probably water.
The soft feeling and waxy smell is probably from waxes that get extracted into the naphtha layer (unless you used plastic at some point, in which case you might have plastic in it and should re extract to get rid of it). Waxes won't hurt you but plastic can.
