yup the same thing ill do again i still have my older 300w so maybe ill throw that in the pic also? kinda cool pics to see and if that 290w is just a bright then the 500w then thats going to be crazy. but white light is brighter to us and our eyes. i think these new white wide band leds are going to be the key for proper spectrum blending and these are going to be good lights with good results. i am sure theirs other tricks that he cant tell us about since theirs competitors

their will be like 6-8 testers using these lights, he might even hook some up on here maybe? every model will be tested and a few test with different grwers same lights. their will also be a few side x sides vs his older 2011 models. i will also be finishing this grow under these new ones with the 4x290's

in ur case i would just use CFL, using these just for veg would be a waste because their more for flowering. CFL will veg great for cheap

on that grow the plants weren't all that big around 26" on Hindu skunk and maybe 30" or so on the jacks, but every grow i do stinks and a filter is a must for me. some strains stink more then ever. my organic grow with jack here was very strong on the smell, crazy bad smell. most good grown buds will stink no matter what light source

cool thanks man ya ive just noticed with my current led grow it dosent smell to bad at all but my plants are not that big and i do not have alot of em. i notice with hps setups when those bad boys lighht up the girls start to stink more but ya all strains are different.

ya all strains are different, allot of time HPS and the radiant heat will burst the THC and that can be why they smelt more?

Well hey I'm not upset, if we're lucky enough the tech keeps upgrading so quick then more power to us! I'm sure this will be a constant just like with computer hardware. Most of us bought in with great 3w diode panels, so we're perfectly well off now compared to HID and far better than the LEDs before us. This was to be expected I think, I imagine the jump won't have been as big with this as from the 2w and shitty 1wx3=3w panels of the old days though.

Hello, very nice work I have watched all you Led grows and I must say, Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I just got a used 600 Watt 3 watt chip Ledstores.net light for $ 220 on ebay. I would be very interested in doing a side by side 4x4 dark room grow with it vs Spectra. We just moved to an unfriendly area, and LED is a must, otherwise I would have had to do t-5s. I know Ledstores.net is a bull shit company but I couldn't pass up the price. I got a $1000.00 but it would take a couple of weeks to get the rest of the $$$ for a spectra. I don't usually post here, as I am paranoid as hell.
