A little thing that bothers me about alot of growers on Youtube... Or any grower...

Is it just me?.... Ok... Let me explain it...

I hate it when growers (Mainly on youtube, since you cant see other growers or know how they think).... When they say they do it for the love of growing. and How MUCH they love this plant, but all you see them doing is growing rooms full of the same strain, and selling clones(alot of you know exactly the type of people I am talking about) They just grow the hottest strain out there....... They have all this money, and all this space to do so many amazing things, but they just keep doing the same BORING stuff over and over and over. If they would really do it for the love of the plant, and because they truly enjoy what they're doing, then dont you think they would maybe try growing different strains?.... Starting from seed sometime, Instead of just growing clones because it's much easier... Do it for the passion of trying to find your own pheno, instead of having someone else pick it for you.. Take a try in breeding?... God, I LOVE everything about growing, and what I would do to have warehouses like that to grow in... They could afford to grow a few different strains and still make a profit.. They dont have to go for the highest yielding or the strain that brings in the most profit all the time...... If i had what they had, I would be trying to make my own NEW trendy strain by experimenting.....They just do it for the money... Plain and simple....They dont care about no "patients"... they could at least do 10 or so different strain plants, and the rest of the 40 could be Blue Dream if they want.

Bunch of 1 trick ponies that use the whole advanced nutrients line, and think they're pro's already.... To tell you the truth I think growers who buy the whole line like that... It's pretty much just growing for dummies imo. A fool proof way of getting great grows, and having everything done for you already..(they even "ph perfect" the shit for you if you use their line...But of course they have to pay big bucks if they want it easy.. So "Big Mike" is pretty much showing them how its done! (again.... I'm not just talking about 1 person, or 1 thing I hate..... I'm pretty much rambling about several things..... Sorry... I'm really not an asshole or anything, but alot of these people talk a big game, and say stuff like "I grow the frostiest nugs on youtube" which is bs... And what I hate the most are all these ass kissers that are all over them, and tell them that shit!.... So it all goes to their head, and they really start believing what the people tell them.... But I think most of those people leaving comments and kissing ass, are the same people who pay retail price for medical marijuana, and think that growing weed is next to impossible... They maybe tried once, and failed, and never tried again, so they think you have to be this genius to grow frosty ass weed, but There are SO MANY people out there that are growing for the first time, and they can have results just as good as some of these growers.... I've seen it.... I've done it.... All you need to do is a little research, and go into this open minded, and listen to people, ya know?.... There is so much free advice out there, and places like here on RIU..

Offering seeds if a certain # of subs were reached... telling everyone to thumbs up his channel like 20 times in 1 vid....lol.... Nah, but I started to respect him more and more for at least using all his grow space to grow all types of strains, and we get to judge on things to buy from attitude.... and he breeds some also.... Has his own strain called "Skank".... I actually once knew a dude who named his own strain that too years ago, but he stopped growing after weed started giving him really bad panic attacks, and he's like afraid to try it now... sad.... I wanna grow some strawberry cough, and maybe he'll try it, and get off that xanax shit........ But, yea.... Been a while since I tried "La Skank".... .... But, nah.... I've had better...lol...... I'd love to try his strain, and judge for myself ..

Gobig is a joke, and he doesnt even realize it.....lol.... poor guy... his head even looks like if he wore his hat on too tight all his life, and didnt allow his brain to fully develope.....

sublbc is one of those dudes i mention...... but he seems to me like one of those book smart kids that got bullied all his life..... so now he uses his smarts to grow weed, and try to get approval from all the "cool kids".... but he's fooling nobody.....and just by watching the guy.... he probably started just growing maybe 6 months before he started posting vids..... hypocrite .....he also acts like if he came from nothing, and has everything he has over a year of hard work! please!.... he obviously had money to begin with..... he said he was basically left on the streets to die, and could not even afford a bite to eat.....pshh.... maybe for like 20 mins till he got hungry again, and told his mom sorry for saying the F word or something, and finally asked her for some lunch money for school....where he got creative and used it to buy basically all the stuff he has today.....

It has nothing to do with money first of all.... I CAN BUY 10 1000w fixtures and the whole shabang if i wanted to.... The thing is, I'm not from California or one of those lucky states, so it would be pretty much retarded to do so here........ I'm just saying... They say they love the whole game, but they're really all about money, and dont give a shit about the patients(sublbc.... Plus he's white trash, scum of the earth, if you saw that vid of him running his hands all over the his crop... If it were his personal use, I wouldnt give a shit, but that's a retarded thing to do for someone with that much "experience".... Pfft... First of all, I cant go through the forums, and write this much or even care to post it and make my own thread without being high..... I respect ALOT of youtubers, but the people that I "hate" on deserve, and really are those kind of "either you love the guy, or you hate him"... Have you even seen his vids?... and I'm not here to mention any names unless im talking about someone I like..... But sublbc is a fake... All that stuff he pledged at first all went out the window as soon as he found out a few people didnt like his ways.... He started off being so humble, and badass.... He even fooled me, but as soon as he started showing his true colors and realized there was no going back, he pretty much turned into this jackass, and guess he makes videos to get under people's skin..... I dont like the dude, but I guess he learned a lil from Howard Stern, and Boxers like Floyd Mayweather..... I could easily just stop watching him as I did GoBig(after like 6 or so vids.... dude isnt entertaining at all...)......... Anyways... First of all, it was all good, and I thought people were going overboard with the whole hating on him also... I actually liked the dude, until that vid he posted from his "Epic Bubba Kush Grow"....and had to cut his crop down early because it got PM Problems all over the place, but the idiot makes a vid on how to take care of that problem, and used canned air (the fumey kind that you use to dust your keyboards) and he bought like 9 cans, and basically used them to spray the PM off the plant, then he basically sold it to a dispensary :/.... Trust me... I'm no softy, or a goody 2 shoes, germ freak or anything... I'll totally do the 5 second... or is it 5 min rule?.... anywho... Yeah.. that's me.(metaphor).. But when you're dealing with sick patients, or cancer victims..... Or plain and simple, If it was ME in his area buying his dope, and him passing it off as it is top grade stuff, that's what I want!.... High Grade, and I want the grower to grow bud, and treat bud the way he'd want his smoke treated...... And even if he was doing that.... Why the hell post a vid of it online? And you're a total fucking hypocrite, as you just "hated" on me for almost the same reasons I'm "hating" on someone else...... Did that nutrient comment I said hurt you in some way?.... Can I not express my opinion?... That's just my opinion, and if you wanna go with pretty much a fool proof way of growing, then go ahead and grow the way big mike wants you to....... I wouldnt pay that much even if it DID get me bud twice as potent...... (which is impossible.... if dealing with the same strain of course... But if it was, I'd just smoke twice as much, and pay way less)..... Or, what?.... You can be the biggest rookie, but guess what.... If you pay for 4 bundle packs, you can become a "GRAND MASTER GROWER" OVERNIGHT!.... How awesome is that!........ Let me guess..... Are you a Grand Master?.... And all that has to be done is just read the label.............. You're never gonna become a great grower, if you just buy every single product in a line and run them all from the start.... Only way is to start small, like just bases(as I did with dyna gro and bloom, with great results).... Then add 1 additive or so at a time, to truly know whats working, and whats not....

Other thing that bugs me is when someone is totally new to growing, or has just 2-3 under their belt, and say they ran the entire line of AN on their third grow, and yea... had great results.... Then comes time to their 4th grow, and they decide to drop "so and so" "because I dont think it was really that effective".... How the hell will they know what worked, and what didnt after 1 grow, and using all of them?.... Most of the time they just drop the expensive ones.... Not because it didnt work for them, but because they know other growers that dont use that particular one with good results..... I GUARANTEE YOU, I can totally grab empty bottles of Connoisseur, and add diluted Dyna Gro to match the ppm's with the AN feeding chart, and also do the same with all the additives with cheaper, similar products, and most of these Hardcore AN junkies wouldnt know the difference in end results..... I bet I can totally go up to "Big Mike" with a big smile on my face, and talk to him like if he's a god, and I could totally trick him in thinking my Pure DynaGro/Bloom Blood and Bonemeal and Molasses grow was grown with the whole advanced line.... and he'd probably smell it, and be like "Oh it sure is!"...... I wish someone would do that in a convention.... I'm pretty sure ppl have..... To Him, or to Remo....(even though I like remo.... I know he's trying to make his money, and of course he's gonna plug AN)...... But he knows better...

This is my first time growing and I have seen a harvest yet but just touching my plants it's stickier than any of the shit Ive seen out here (until last night) ... Sorry may I rant . haha .. Last night pickes up some Pineapple Kush and it was really sticky. Havent really had bud that good in a while .. Mostly I can afford to smoke bud on ocassion but mainly stick to shit ass mid grades that gor for $120 a oz. (If its even 28gs on point) or wiether its green or brown .. Lots of stems and/or seeds. But sometimes its decent. And there arent any MMJ Shops here

So these are some strains that go around in order of most available : Unknown (which is bs) , Diesels , and occasionally some kushs .. some good some not so.. Oh and most likely made up names or cross breeds, but probally made up. Past 6 months only thing woth talking about was some Master Kush , Pinapple Kush & OG Kush ..

All good growing takes in some space , cash & TLC .. And experience .. Read as many books as you want but 4-6 months of trail and error will do you better. Any dont cut corners and be lazy .. I have and your plants get mad at you . I cleaned my flower room real nice last night. Im sure they love me for it.

For anyone still reading , haha .. Here's something that pisses me off..

A buddy of mine I get my mids from talks about growing weed and claims he does but I almost sure he's bullshitting..
Here's some things he claims ....

1. Any MJ seed taken from shit mexican weed can and/or will turn into any strain out there.
2. With 7 plants in a 10'x10' area with 1x 1000w hps you will yield 7 lbs no problem
3. Any nugs that are dense are chemically induced
4. Any weed that smells like or tastes like anything in chemically induced or has floavor drops on it
5. Any weed smelling of orange peel , an orange peel was placed in the bag. (My Kings Kush in flower smells just like an orange rind)
6. You shouldn't hang your plants to dry .. I think he said something about mold
7. When you harvest you should dunk your plants roots into boiling water to shoch any THC out of the root system into the buds
8. A hps bulb physically burns out after 1 grow .

He has many other things he claims that pisses me off but I cant argue with him too much since this is a stealth grow and is for personal use only (and the wife) .. But no matter how I say something else he says I need to do research .. Oh well ... My rant is done

and, yea THC..... I'm sure that dude is full of shit..... Well, it's a FACT that he doesnt know what the hell he's talking about.... Only things that sound legit would be the hangin of the weed, but doesnt mean you shouldnt, or cant, just depends how you do it, and that they're not too crowded, basically........ That, and the Orange Peel thing sounds possible, since alot of people do that, but idk that it will really really make it taste like orange.... This is usually done to cure super dry weed... Usually that brick packed stuff.... But 7 lbs with 1000w by itself, no matter if its in a 100x100 room wouldnt do over 2-3 lbs..... And that's doing everything perfect in that 10x10 with light mover, and huge reflector, and perfect conditions,... Perfect perfect perfect...... 3lbs at most.... MAYBE 4, but it's gonna take close to 5-6 months to do so in all, plus a high yielding strain like Blue Dream.... and instead of a 10x10 I say a light mover in a 5x10 would be better, and do a SOG

Here's the thing about people who grow for profit, or as some would call it: a business. *Making money is the fucking point.* What you don't seem to understand is that most businesses require a fair amount of investment and/or financing to get started. The amount that you make is severely dampened by your debt service (or covering the cost of your investment/financing if you're not familiar with the term.) You think these guys want to plant whole crops of the same strain all the time? No, dick, they do it because the profit margins in commercial marijuana growing are getting to be razor thin. They're growing large, single-strain crops because that's how they believe they'll stay competitive. They grow from clones because it's faster and they can count on what they're getting. They don't breed plants because that's not what they're in the business of doing. Would a lot of these growers enjoy doing these things? Probably. But here's the thing, they're doing what they can as best as they can. They're running a business and they happen to love their work. If hobbyist growing is what you love, do it, but don't shit on other people just because they claim to love something you clearly don't understand.
