Eagle 20 will cure and prevent it. Just don't harvest within 2 weeks. I used to constantly get PM, Eagle 20 got rid of it and didn't cause any stress or nutrient sensitivity. Now I use every round in veg as preventative.

I recently put some actinovate (1 tsp/gal) on to treat very mild powdery mildew in very early flower and it fried all my pistils that it got on. Still waiting to see how they recover. Not 100% certain that was it but I log my grows well enough that I'm about 99% that was it. Its also pretty much happening where I sprayed it. Plus i have some new spots of PM a week later. If your gonna use that stuff, I'd do a test area first. Remind me not to use new shit my hydro guy recommends. Went in for potassium bicarbonate (green cure), came out with pistil fryer. Works about as well as serenade, which is not at all. No opinion on green cure as I haven't tried it but it was recommended in an ask ed column.

Greencure will fry the S*** out of your plants as well. You need to go easy on the dose if you use it. Just picked up some Actinovate today for some mild spotting of PM. Well see how it does.

I IS THE SHIT! is a living organism that attacks powdery mildew, rust, etc. Fuck chemicals this stuff really works. I also use it as a soil drench to keep my roots disease free, so far no problems

I second the Eagle 20 solution but as stated you need at least 2 weeks before harvesting. I treat in week 1 of vegging and in week 1 of flowering just so I never have to see that crap again what a pain that stuff was.

For those interested in Exel LG or Actinovate- Its laughable that Exel makes the claim of an "organic" systemic. Both products are garbage.Spots back a week later after dunking in Exel, and using Actinovate as a soil drench.

I've just applied Actinovate to my girls with PM about 7 days into flowering. I did not observe any pistil burn following my application of this product, perhaps Treegear was just a bit overzealous with his mix. I mixed a gram of the powder with 1500 ML water. I was really wary about spraying ANYTHING on my girls once they started flowering but PM is no joke and I had to do something and thus far I do not regret using this product. I plan on spraying once more 5 days after initial application and then I will wait, watch, and report to you folks what I see

Well if you read the actinovate label it says for powdery mildew a foliar application is required.... Can't blame a product for not working when you can't even follow the instructions printed on its label

Wrong. I spoke with Natural Industries, makers of Actinovate, and they actually recommend a soil drench for optimal results as opposed to the foliar spray. Have since been using Eagle 20 early in Veg, havent seen a single PM spot in my garden since.

Too late now I suppose but I was going to ask if you had ever used the milk solution. That just kicked ass on my PM!
