I Feel That Dispensary's Are A Rip Off

this is just an example of how you can make 30 times your profit by ripping people off.

the basics DOLLAR CFLS i got on special bought 10
hydro containers 7 dollars bought a box of small containers for five dollars and add 2 dollars for a plastic shoe box at b1glots
i use super natural nutrients bought both flowering and veg for 30 bucks
timer 8 bucks
add 15 dollar fan
i had a old pump so that was free
time to add it up $71.00 dollars

how much does a ounce of HIGHS go for 300.00 ? maybe even more
lets say one plant produces 1 once (althought it can easily do 2) lets keep it reasanable
you grow 10 plants every plant produces a once equals to $3000.00

now i dont know about you but 3k is more than enough to cover what i spend and. more there really is no justification for this to keep on happening
it doesn't take a scientist to see this. ugly situation as well.

if it's so bloody easy, do it and shut up or shut up and don't do it.

Great last post. OP also seems to always leave out the fact that it takes time which he obviously believes that you shouldn't make a single penny off of your time spent. I hope you don't get paid for your work you do if you work at all. Some do it as a hobby and obviously to some it is a JOB think about it please for everyones sake and shut up

what about the growers guys? all I see is growers getting fucked in the process here, especially in northern california.


I mean they force us to get rid of our pounds for 1700, we used to have a standard price of 2500 a pound. I don't think that's unreasonable... especially when the dispensaries make around 9000 dollars per pound when they're done with it.

I realize ther'es a lot of overhead but there isn't so much overhead that you can't actually PAY the growers for their hard work. 2200 at LEAST common.... this is fucked.

Ok, @ Cashcropper and tiny: Growing weed is VERY simple and anyone and everyone shouold be allowed to do so. If one can grow and sell $15 g bud then by all means do so. i just think that there are relatively few growers out there that can produce bud that is worthy of $15 a g. So there would be a TON of cheap, accessible, low to mid grade bud. And less of the $15 g's.

i understand it takes time to grow. That's taken care of by having a 3 room grow. If one wants to invest in the equipment to pull TOP QUALITY indoor bud, time isn't a factor when it comes to the ability to harvest heavy and often. BUT, i and everyone else would have the right to do the same.

@poplars: The growers will be compensated based on their growing skills instead of a flat amount regardless of quality. i hear you on the wanting a cut of the clubs profit margin and rightfully so. My feeling is that the $9000 pound is WAY overpriced. Period. i cannot think of a single reason why a pound of bud should cost $9k. Not one. Well, maybe if it was laced with coke or something.?

the market up here is not very accurate... we have 2 dispensaries, and they're both within a mile of eachother. so they likely talk to eachother and agree on a price they take all outdoor peoples bud for up here... because I can go down to so-cal and get rid of my shit for 2200 a pound all day, but up here they try to rip people off because there's only 2 dispensaries.

look, I used to feel the same way you do, but then I went organic and tilled my bed and realized how fucking hard this shit is.

the prices are pretty much where they're gonna stay, for super chronic you're gonna be paying 250-300 an oz, for the standards it's gonna be around 200, and then you 'll be able to get low quality for 100.

there just isn't a reality where you're going to see high quality chronic oz's going for 150, it will /never/ happen.

I started a big stink like yo u did with a thread, it got a LOT more attention than this thread did, and the end result was the same: people have overhead.

if I the grower want to charge 2000, and the dispensaries take it, they have to make it worth their while, and htey have to pay for people to work there and guard the place and all other expenses.

they wouldn't be able to stay afloat if they had it your way.

so if you REALLY want a good deal you need to know a grower and buy DIRECT from the source. me as a grower I would only sell my high quality oz's for 220. the dispensaries would push that up to 300.

so if you want to save money, go to the source, not the dispensaries. because that's where all the money gets fucked with, the growers just want enough to get by, not 6 grand profit.
